I sit in the restaurant trying to make it through the night sitting with Kayden's parents.
"So Ray what do you do for work?" Beverly Kayden's mum asks.
"I work an office job from 5pm to 9pm" I answer as I take a sip of wine in front of me.
I make a weird face as I stare at the wine.
"Do you not like the wine?" Craig Kayden's dad asks
"I'm not a big fan on wine" I say as I put the glass down
An awkward silence is sitting in the air as we eat our food that also tastes like shit. Expensive food tastes weird to me I guess.
"Excuse me I need to use the restroom" I say as I get up
When I get into the bathroom I call Halston but it goes straight to voice mail. Tempest is probably past out somewhere. Oh I know I'll call me bestie Jared.
"Please pick up please pick up" I whisper as the phone rings.
"Hello?" Jared says as he answers the phone.
Jared has been my friend since I was in year 8 because he's a year younger then me.
"Jared I'm at a dinner date with Kayden's parents what do I do?" I ask longing for answer because there's no way I'm making it through the whole night with awkward silences.
"Ok I'll call you in 5 minutes while your sitting at the table. Tell them it's an important business call. Then I'll come pick you up." Jared explains carefully
"Oh my gawd your the best!!!" I say as I hang up.
Those 5 minutes felt like 50.
When he called I did exactly as he said then said my goodbyes and told Kayden I'll see him at home before I walked out the door to find Jared with his most likely brand new car. His family is loaded because they work as some big company or something like that.
"Hey RD" He says as I hop into his car.
RD is his nick name for me.
"lets go!!!" I say putting my seat belt on.
As we drive off I remember the bet. I doubt I'd be able to get Jared to do it but it's worth a shot.
We arrive at Jared's house. I love his house it's so big.
We walk into his kitchen where I sit on his counter.
"Got any food???" I ask
He opens his cupboard revealing a shit ton of snacks.
He grabs a packet of chips out of the cupboard as he walks towards me.
"Here you go ma lady" he says offering my favourite chips to me
I giggle as I take the chips.
We stare at eachother for a long moment when I use him to get off the counter and I give him a hug.
"Your the best" I whisper swaying in his arms.
"Do you want a drink???" He asks walking towards the fridge
"Got any vodka?" I ask
"Are you an alcoholic?" He asks passing me the bottle
"Oh how rude I don't drink that much!" I laugh well knowing that most of my nights are spent partying with Tempest.
I take a sip then pass him the bottle. We go into his lounge room were we start tackling.
He pins me to the ground.
"I'll always beat you" he says staring at me with his beautiful blue eyes.
And then the heat of the moment and the bet playing over in my head I grab his face and we start making out.
I see a pattern why is it always on the floor In a lounge room???
It starts getting hotter as he rips off my tight red dress and I pull his shirt off.
"Wait!!! What about Kayden?" Jared asks breathing heavily
"He cheated on me this doesn't count" I say and hope he doesn't take it the wrong way.
He grabs me again and we keep going. We then fuck like there's no tomorrow.
When we finish I check my phone. 5 miss calls from Kayden 1 from Tempest.
Shit the patterns again!!!
I call Kayden.
"Hey where are you?" Kayden asks in a worried tone
"I'm at a mates house" I reply as I here someone in his background
"Oh ok are you sleeping at there house to night???" Kayden asks in a encouraging tone like he doesn't want me at the house
"Uhh I mean yeh I don't have to come home" I say curious
" Oh yeh good good. I'm sorry about dinner tonight it was kinda ruined" he says as he does I here a girl in his background saying something I can't quite workout
"Anyway I gotta go love you bye" Kayden says hanging up on me.
I give Tempest a call next.
"Hey omg you won't believe who's at the pub tonight" Tempest says answering my call
"Hey sireous can you go by my house and make sure Kayden isn't cheating on me bahahah. By the way the bet is on I just slept with Jared" I say as I hang up the phone.
I walk to Jared's bedroom where I see him get out of the shower shirtless with his smoking hot body.
Damm that's hot.
