Miku POV

I pull up my mask higher. Finally arriving at the roof of Len's chambers. I go towards the edge of the roof. Where his window is located.

Tying a rope around one of the poles on the roof, i use it to lower myself. Hanging upside down to peak through the window. He had a bath robe on. Barely covering his chest as he'd tied the belt loosely around his waist.

His hair was also down and i find my self in awe at the sight. I'd never seen him with loose hair before. He looked... weird.

In a good way...

Focus Miku!

I wait until he enters the bathroom. Before i lower myself further. Swinging into the room through the window. I land on my feet silently. Looking around the room to inspect it.

His bed was just as large as the prince's. Except he had a lot of drawers as well as a large shelf filled with books and scrolls.

There were many places where he could keep my book. And i had little time to check it out.

I raid the shelf first. And I wasnt surprised to see a lot of historic related books and scrolls in there. Of course he'd be into the boring stuff. Once I'm half way through, I decide to leave it and check the drawers as well.

I check the ones on the left side of the bed. Sighing in frustration when i don't find it and check the other ones on the right side of the bed.

I was beginning to panic by the time I didn't see it. I was running out of time and I still wasn't able able find my book anywhere.

Then I spot it laying on his desk along with some other papers and books. My heart catches at my throat when I notice the book was closed. Hopefully.. he didn't see it.

I grab the book, stuffing it into my pouch when something catches my eye.

It looked like some sort of letter. Buried underneath some of the other papers scattered around the table. Curiously, I pick it up. It was written in a foreign language. A language I'd never seen before. I turn the paper around to see a a symbol. A symbol of a serpent within a circle.

My head spins a little and I almost fall to my knees. Why does this look familiar?

I'm not given the chance to think further when a small dagger is pressed to my throat. A body caging me in and a broad chest is pressed to my back.

My heart stops.

"Who dares to invade my chambers" a voice whispers in my ear. Causing shivers to go up and down my spine. He was so so close and it was making me uncomfortable. Especially the fact that his wet body was pressed up against my back and I could feel every hard muscle pressed against me.
