Third person POV
The clock ticks non stop in the background as the tealette lazily sweeps the floor. Eyes tired as she stared at the dirt accumulating with every sweep of the broom.
She was happy today was a weekend. By the end of the week, her brain had short circuited with the amount of mental and social torture she'd had to endure.
From class mates.
As well as her sensei. Yes, her sensei himself.
Len Kagamine. The best swords master in the village. No one could ever match up to him because he was the best. And those who did were only left with a wounded body, as well as the shame that came with it.
Some say, he could easily slay a dragon on his own without even breaking a sweat. Of course she wasn't sure if that was possible.
But it seems he's heard about such a rumour because the man was just so full of himself.
He was what you would call a cocky self centered bastard. A cruel one too. At least to Miku.
For some reason, the man made it his life's mission to torment the tealette every chance he got. Embarrassing her among her mates and making her feel more and more worthless every single day.
It didn't help that her classmates were brats as well. They'd always laugh and enjoy it whenever she was brought down or asked to do something embarrassing. Rubbing salt into her wounds.
And that was why she was the village's loner. The strange one. The weak one.
The worthless and useless one.
At this point, if it wasn't for the positivity of her grandmother, she would have surely gone mad from all the torments and negativity. Coming her way from all directions.
Her granny was her last ray of light. Her safe place. Her little ray of sunshine that manages to light up her so called world. And she loved her dearly for that.
Once she was done with her chores at home, she gathers all the dirty clothes in the house and heads for the river. Which was located not too deep in the woods.
Besides her grandmother, the river was her other safe place. Where she relaxed, sings songs and just be.. free. Free from the hell and torments from the village.
Miku starts washing her grandmother's clothes first. Humming a soft song as she did so.
For once, just like always when she came here, she felt happy and content with her life. Her confidence that has been battered and burnt through out the week, refilling within her.
There are times she's actually thought of relocating to the woods, but she had a grandmother to take care of.
Speaking of grandmothers, the sun was setting and she was sure her grandmother was on her way back to the house soon.
