Miku POV
I wake up to the sight of Amber eyes staring at me. So close to my face that I jump off the other side of the bed in fear. Landing on the floor on my back.
I close my eyes, groaning in pain before I open them again to stare at Neru staring down at me with worry.
"Are you OK?" She asks, helping me stand up.
"Uh.. I guess... I dunno... I'm not used to waking up to eyes staring into my soul" I say, rubbing my back.
She slouches, "I um.. didn't mean to..." she looks away. I guess that was her way of saying sorry.
"Why are you in my room so early?"
"I wanted to ask you something " she answers immediately. I raise a brow.
"Couldn't it wait until after breakfast?"
"No" my brows furrow, "I want you to teach me".
I stare at her in confusion. Wondering if this was what she considered a question.
"Teach you what?"
"How to fight" I blink at her.
"What?"
"Come on you heard me. Teach me how to fight... I... I want to learn" she mumbles the last part, looking away. I tilt my head at her,
"You want to learn how to fight" I say flatly and she punches my arm.
"Ow, hey!"
"You heard me! Why are you asking again!"
"Well, maybe because I'm confused... why do you want to learn how to fight?" I ask and she blushes, looking away.
"I don't want to be the helpless princess I am anymore. Seeing you fight those guys alone made me jealous... jealous because you could do something I couldn't" she mumbles the last part, "I also don't want to be saved everytime I get in trouble. I want to be a warrior princess instead".
