ASTRID'S POV:

HE WHAT?!?!?

I storm downstairs. To see exactly what Zack said happening. I peered around the corner to see lexi leaning back on the counter, with nate pressing against her. Their mouths devouring eachothers.

I pulled out my phone. I snapped a video. I couldn't believe my eyes.

I walked upstairs. My eyes watering. As soon as I shut my door I started crying.

"Hey hey hey...", Zack says pulling me into a hug.

I cried into Zacks chest.

"I can't believe I trusted her. Or him!!"

"...about that", Zack says.

He goes on to explain that, he knows I've seen the messages and that he's sorry. That he had no idea what he was thinking by saying all of that.

"I forgive you Zack.", I say though my voice.

"Wanna go on a joy ride? I want to show you something.", he asks me.

"Yeah let me tell nate.", I say. "Wait nevermind fuck nate. Let's go!"

I walk out of my room to hear, some noises in Nate's room.

I couldn't tell what it was.

"Hey you go downstairs. I have to use the restroom ill be down in a mintue."

I nod and head downstairs.

Zack comes back a few mintues later.

"What took you so long?", I ask.

"Nothing", he says smiling.

We go out to his car. He has a big f150.

We get in and drive for about an hour just catching up and talking. Later we go to McDonald's first to grab a bite.

I finally pull out my phone. The time reads 10:08 at night.

I look at my notifications bar to see i have 8 missed calls from nate, and 16 messages.

What the fuck does he want.

"Hey um excuse me I have to use the restroom", I say to Zack.

He nods.

I run to the bathroom and pull out his messages.

Some of them read.

Astrid where are you?!?

Hello!?!

Answer my calls pleaseeee!

Answer astrid!!

Please your worrying me!!!

I leave him on read.

It seems he was waiting for me to answer because texts right away.

ASTRID.

I leave that on read too.

When I came out I guess I didn't realize how long I was gone for.

"Where were you?", Zack asks.

Tell him nate was blowing up your phone. "Oh....its my mom. I have to go home." I just lied.

"Oh, okay let's go then.", he says getting up.

The ride back home was silent.

"...I think nate and lexi fucked."
