ASTRID'S POV:
"Hello? Girl! wake up!"
I awake to the sound of jules voice.
"Were here!", Marcus says.
I get up quickly and grab my stuff.
As soon as we step off the plane the cool air hits us in the face.
"Not anything like this in Florida huh?", nate chuckles.
"What are we waiting for!?", jules says.
We get our room keys. Each of us get a separate room. But of course no one sleeps alone on this trip.
"HEY LOSERS YALL UP FOR SKIING ON PINES PEAK??", Jake asks.
"Im down!", Macie says.
Marcus and Jules agree.
"You coming?", nate asks.
"Oh me? No, you see I dont do skiing.",I say nervously.
"You sure Astrid I dont want to leave you alone.", nate whispers.
"Im positive. I'll go to my room ill be fine."
He nods.
"Well be back in a few hours!", jules yells as the go outside the lodge.
I sigh. "I guess off to my room then"
"Oh but you don't have to."
I knew that voice to well.
I turn around to see Zack standing in front of me.
"What do you want."
"Oh...I just want to know...", his hand caresses my cheek, "..why your taking what happened out of proportion."
"Fuck off Zack. You know what you did."
"Oh but did i?", he says getting closer.
"Zack I said fuck off.", I say my back bumping into the wall.
"And if I dont.", he mumbles leaning in for a kiss.
"Hey buddy she said fuck off."
Who was that?
Zack backs up and turns around. I saw him.
It was a guy a didn't know. He had black curly hair. The prettiest brown eyes. He was tall muscular, and looked like Marco from the kissing booth.
"She said fuck off.", the guy says.
"Pfft whatever.", Zack says walking off.
"I...am...really...glad you came when you did. ",I say relieved he was gone.
"Yeah, your welcome. ", he says.
I smile, I go to walk off but he stops me.
"What is your name?", he asks
"Astrid. Astrid Cooper."
"Im Marco Perez.", he says. "I couldn't help but notice your alone. Where are your friends?"
"Oh....they went skiing. They'll be back in an hour...maybe."
He laughs.
"Whats funny Marco?"
"Ahh. You see Pikes Peak is the only skiing spot here. And that thing is a 3 hour round skiing joint.", he explains.
Looks like they won't be back anytime soon.
