Jennie sits at the back of her pickup watching how the time flies while waiting for Lisa.
And exactly 20 minutes like how Lisa told her, she came. She went out her car with her heart beating painfully as she walks closer to Jennie.
Lisa reached Jennie and gave her a smile. Jennie helped Lisa to sit beside her and laced their hands together.
No please, Jennie won't do it right?
It's getting painful and painful as minutes goes by.
"I love you, you know that right?" Jennie asks and took Lisa's hand to her mouth and kissed the back of it.
"And I love you too."
Lisa wants to cry, but instead she just leaned her head on Jennie's shoulder not minding how she's struggling because of their height difference.
They both watch how the sky slowly turns to orange as the sun starts setting down.
Jennie smiles and looked over Lisa who has her eyes closed now and looked infront again taking a deep breath.
"The sunset is beautiful isn't it?"
Lisa stays silent, tears slowly snd painfully escaping her galaxy eyes.
And slowly, Lisa nods on Jennie's shoulder. She knows this is for the best for the both of them. Sitting up still thir eyes on the beautiful sunset.
"It is. . . It is beautiful."
Jennie smiles biting her lower lip, and a tear escapes those feline eyes.
"Thank you." She breathes as Lisa finally faces her with an unexplainable expression, she's either happy or not. Can't tell.
"You're welcome Jennie. Always."
I love you, and I hope this will be the best decision of our lives.
And they kissed under the orange glazed skies as they let their tears fall.
It was last, their last kiss.
A painful kiss, but worth it.
They separated with the sunset witnessing them. Separated for their own good.
