A rare day for ××××× university, it's the day where the students will finally know who there soulmates are. Everyone is excited waiting for the magic to happen.
_
In a room two people are bickering again.
"Oh yeah? Well guess what Lisa!? Your mom told me I'm coming with you in Thailand!" Jennie yells smirking. It was her plan to nag the Thai while on her vacation so she pleaded to Lisa's mother if she can come with her.
Lisa let's out a deep breath, "I'm gonna tell your grandfather about you failing Mathematics!"
Jennie was alarmed, her grandfather is a very strict man. He doesn't want any of his grandchildren to have any failed marks. "Yah! Let's not get to that point!"
"Can you two shut up? Or you want me to staple both of your mouth?" Jisoo says angrily looking at the two people fighting.
"Calm down babe," Rosé strokes Jisoo's arms and averted her gaze to the two girls, "Can you two take this fight somewhere else? Today's a special day for all of us. And I'll bet my house if you two end up being soulmates."
This made the students inside the room let out series of laughters while the two frowns crossing their arms and proceeded to their seats.
It was their free time, and that time will be when they'll know who their soulmates are. Lisa, who is not interested with it at all as she doesn't believe this shit, she stayed at the library keeping herself busy as she texts her boyfriend to accompany her. But little did she know, her boyfriend isn't her soulmate, instead he already has his pinky finger tied with another man indicating they're both soulmates.
Lisa plops down the desk as she takes a deep breath. Then she heard students talking.
"So you're telling me that soulmate thingy is real?"
"Yeah, Rosé and Jisoo revealed the thread on both their fingers. That's so sweet."
Lisa looks at her finger and there's still no thread. And if there is, it should be her boyfriend.
But a little later, a thread slowly shows on her pinky, a red one. She's nervous, nervous that it's not her boyfriend.
She follows where the thread is leading her. She went out the library, her sticking her pinky to wherever the thread leads her. A minute of walking, she frowns.
The thread led her to her room.
Taking another deep breath, she enters the room. The room was filled with her classmates squealing finding their own soulmates, the room was barely had any space so she had to squeeze in the crowd to find the end of the thread.
"Aish..." She whines feeling suffocated when she bumped to someone.
Someone with a so much familiar strawberry rose scent. She slowly looks up to this person's finger and saw a thread. Lisa slowly pulls the thread frim hwr pinky to see if it's this person who has the end.
And it was...
Lisa's heart was beating, beating so fast that she can't count it.
While the other person smiles, feeling so happy that it was her all along.
Lisa looks up meeting the person's eyes.
Cat eyes.
"Fuck." Lisa breathes.
"Hi Lisa." Jennie smiles, showing her gummy smile as she holds Lisa's hands and touched the thread.
Jennie chuckles, "It's really you. My heart wasn't wrong to beat that fast when I saw you enter the room."
Lisa suddenly felt butterflies in her stomach feeling fluttered by Jennie's words. She looks away as she felt her cheeks go hot. This made mde Jennie giggle seeing how Lisa blushes.
"So..." Lisa starts.
"OH FUCK! EVERYONE LOOK! IT'S REALLY THEM IN THE END!"
A classmate of them shouts earning the other students inside the attention and looked over Jennie and Lisa who are now looking shy.
"I knew it, told you all! Now give me your houses!" Rosé exclaims clinging to her girlfriend's arms.
Jennie and Lisa made eye contact. One looking at the other lovingly while the other one has it in her eyes ready to be revealed.
"I think we should get to know each other more." Jennie says smiling, "and when done, I'm gonna court you and make you my girlfriend. Make you the happiest person in the world."
Lisa felt giddy at Jennie's words then she remembers her boyfriend. She looks around and found Jungkook looking at her with a smile.
He mouthed it's okay and even showed a thumbs up, Lisa saw his finger tied to a thread. She follows where the thread leads it and it was none other than Kim Taehyung.
"I told you your boyfriend's gay for my brother." Jennie whispers earning a smack from Lisa, "Oww... It's okay, be thankful I love you."
That made Lisa froze, Jennie loves her.
"It's true Lisa, I really love you. I love you so much that I let go of you when you dated him. But now that we got to the point where we're really for each other, I think it's time for me to claim you back and never let go of you."
Should I confess?
But instead, Lisa tackled Jennie with a tight hug. Jennie puts her hands on Lisa's back returning the hug.
No one spoke, they just cherished the moment.
It true, this soulmate thingy is real.
They found their own soulmates. Found their way to each other. Found their other half.
It's them.
