I'm upset. My fiance is not here on my birthday. I understand her job as a businesswoman. I know she needs to attend business trips and I shouldn't complain with it. She's doing this for me, for us.
"Damn, I miss her so much. It's been three months..."
I sighed getting up from my bed, OUR bed. Me and Jennie live together, it's been 4 years since we got together. Deeply inlove with each other.
The house looks a mess, I've been busy at my dance studio that I didn't had any time to clean the house. Plus our pets, who does nothing but to mess the whole house.
"Kuku!" There he goes again with the tissues.
"Leo!" And my cat scratching on our couch.
This is why I love Kai(the dog) more than Kuku, no offense. Kai would just sleep the whole day and play with me same goes with our 3 other cats. Not to mention Love! He's such a big dog now, so big that he scares Leo everytime.
I took our pets' bowls and proceeded to the kitchen getting the bag of dog foods and cat foods on the cabinet and pouring it on the individual bowls.
"Eat well my babies."
It's 4pm and I decided to cook myself gamjatang for my birthday. I'm okay with that.
But the thing is... I don't know how to cook.
I'm used to Jennie cooking!
I guess, I'll just order food later. I'll just watch Netflix for the meantime.
No one greeted me for my birthday yet and it's making me sad. Jisoo and Chae must be busy preparing for their wedding, and I bet Seulgi is having a date with Irene. And most especially, my girlfriend haven't greeted me too. Is she too busy to forget my special day? We didn't celebrate her birthday too since she was on her business trip since December.
My gift for her is still here, I really wanna give it to her.
A tear escaped my eyes as I really felt sad. I'm alone here at the house, and I don't feel good since this morning so I didn't go out.
I've been watching for maybe two hours already and I wouldn't have stopped if the doorbell didn't ring. I looked at the wall clock and it's already 6:45. I lazily stand up walking to the door and opened it revealing some unexpected people.
"Mr. and Mrs. Kim, I didn't expect you here. Please come in." I said and gave them both a kiss on the cheeks.
"Lisa it's been years and I told you to call us mom and dad." Mrs.- mom said making me chuckle.
"Sorry mom. Please settle down, I'll prepare you coffee."
After a few minutes, I returned to the living room with two cups of coffee on my hands. I gave it to Jennie's parents, they thanked me and I smiled at them.
"I told you to hire a maid, look at your house. You are a busy person Lisa, and hiring a maid is not bad." Dad said.
"I understand dad, I will talk about this with Jennie soon."
They both sip on their coffees and you can tell that they really loved it.
"Hmm, by the way before everything else." Dad started smiling at me with mom giggling beside him.
"Happy birthday dear." They both said making me smile.
Atleast they remember.
"Thank you mom and dad." Wait, I didn't cook anything. Oh my god, this is embarrassing. "I- I didn't cook anything tho... I thought... no one's coming."
