Impressionable (Senku Ishigami x Reader)

"Gen, you haven't actually seen Senku and (Y/n)'s body. If they are alive out there, they'll surely discover the village and build a kingdom of science. That would be the worst conceivable scenario. As soon as we take the army, we'll take the village by force."

"More ridiculously strong men like him are coming?" Kohaku was the first to react when hearing these recited words from Gen.

"Probably, yeah." Gen shrugs slightly. "He's been reviving a ton of people."

Senku cackles when hearing this, "We've come to an all-out war between the kingdom of science and the kingdom of might. This is exhilarating." "A party sounds like so much fun." Ginro whines, "I'd be too, if it weren't for a certain stubborn someone who has nothing to say but, "rules are rules"..." He exchanges a dead panned expression when looking at Kinro from the corner of his eye.

"Guarding the village is our duty." Kinro remarks, standing at the front of the bridge entrance. "If they were to attack the village, they'd do it now, during the celebration." His eyes widens slightly, and his bends his knees slightly as he says, "Ginro, go back and alert the others."

"About what?" Ginro says, looking over at Kinro's shoulder from behind to see a group of broad men who were interlocking eyes to them as they hid within the bushes.

"If they reach the living quarters where the children are, it's over." Kinro says. "Ginro, if I'm killed, cut down the bridge with me on it."

Ginro doesn't protest, and hurriedly runs back to the village to alert the others of the unexpected guests.

Kinro slowly backs away, keeping his guard up with the use of his shield and spear.

"Huh.."A man standing upon the branch of a tree underneath the moonlight watches from afar. "He immediately realized he was outnumbered, and now he's luring us onto the bridge to fight one-on-one. I like it. He's very proper."

As anticipated, Kinro began to lure the group of men towards the bridge, and already one of them began to attack him, "He's trying to run away! Are you scared, caveman?" Kinro took no second thought in slamming his spear across his face, enforcing him to propel into the other men who look at him out of awe.

The same man who analyzed from afar came out to say bluntly to his comrade, "I never would have thought your brain was so melted, that you'd expect to win against a spear on a narrow bridge. The caveman is a lot more proper than you are."

"He broke my nose!" His comrade responded.

"We're sorry, Hyoga-san." Another of them said.

The man named Hyoga gazes over at Kinro, who remained on his guard at all times. Hyoga marches down towards the bridge, keeping his distance from Kinro, noticing how he kept straining his eyes, "Huh? You have bad eyesight, don't you?"

"Tsukasa isn't the only person who's bad news, though." Gen continues, "If he or Tsukasa-chan were to show up frankly, you'd all have to run. That man who was revived the other day is Hyoga-chan. I told them I'd go in as a spy and lead the way, and left first. But I could only buy so much time--"

"Guys!" Ginro yells, earning everyone's attention as he ran down the bridge, "The enemy is here!" He is followed by Kohaku, Senku, Chrome, Kaseki, Gen, (Y/n), and Suika when they rush back to where Kinro was fighting Hyoga.

"They're already attacking us?" Gen says, "This is seriously bad! The guy Kinro-chan's fighting is Hyoga!"

Hyoga thrusts his spear forward to pierce into Kinro's stomach, drawing out blood from his wound and some to be coughed out from his mouth. Due to the immense force behind the attack, Kinro was pushed over from the railings of the bridge, gripping on Hyoga's peg leg just in time.
