"I'm leaving the village now." Gen informs to his comrades, "You wouldn't want to have to deal with an outsider who isn't even a contestant, right, Kinro-chan the guard? We can talk about your end of our deal after you captured the village, Senku-chan and (Y/n)-chan."

"Sure." Senku says without bothering to make eye contact.

"Take care!" (Y/n) exclaims with a wave as she watches Gen march down the bridge to head his way out the village.

"Chrome..." Ruri says breathlessly, relieved to see Chrome not hurt severely, and manage to claim his victory over Magma, one of the strongest within the village.

"Ruri-chan--Priestess, you're going to have to marry the winner, huh?" Ginro spoke up from below, earning her attention, "Don't worry." He assures to her with a gentle smile, "Now it's just up to me or

Senku to give up the victory. The winner is going to be Chrome. I can tell, you know. You really wanted Chrome to win, didn't you?"

Ruri doesn't answer, and could only gaze down at where Chrome was, where he was surrounded by blunt remarks from Senku and (Y/n).

"Good job figuring out the difference between convex and concave, Chrome." Senku says, pressing a feet on Chrome's back to pin Chrome slightly and lean forward.

"You call us incredible, Chrome? Look at you!" (Y/n) ruffles a hand through his hair. "You really scared us a little!"

Ruri finally says, "No, as the priestess, I have no such thoughts. I'm only a servant of the gods. I will marry the winner of the Grand Bout."

Ginro tilts his head to the side, "Really? Huh, I always thought...wait a second does that mean you don't really care who wins?!"

"Huh?!" Ruri says sheepishly, "Well...that's right."

'Try to read between the lines a little, Ginro.' Jasper thought. 'What else is Ruri-sama suppose to say?'

Ginro imagined himself as the village chief for a good few seconds, and his selfishness began to grow as a result. "Match two of the semi-finals will now begin." Jasper announces. "Senku versus Ginro. Both contestants, forward."

Ginro raises his clothed spear to slam it downwards at where Senku stood, who manages to move away

last minute. "What the hell's gotten into you, Ginro?!"

"I mean.." Ginro began, chasing Senku around the field as he continues to evade his attacks, "Ruri-chan said she'll marry anyone! So maybe I have a shot at being village chief, too! Maybe it's finally my time to shine!"

"He going insane!" (Y/n) trembles at the sight of Ginro's ballistic expression.

"G-Ginro, you..." Kinro presses his hands over the side of his head out of disapproval.

"He's way too scummy." Kohaku says, embracing herself out of concern.

"If I become the chief, I'll get to have ramen every day! And a harem!" Ginro rants. "I'm going to turn it into a super awesome village!" He continues to chase Senku down with numerous slams of his clothed spear.

The villagers also didn't seem to approve of this, 'I think he's..'

'Ginro....anyone but you.''

'We can't let him become the village chief' The villagers thought at once.

"We have to do something!" (Y/n) exclaims. "Senku-san, do something! Anything!"

"We have to take down that scum now!" Kohaku remarks. "But Senku doesn't stand a chance."
