Impressionable (Senku Ishigami x Reader)

The Treasure

"Senku, (Y/n), Chrome, and Magma?!" Kohaku exclaims out of disbelief.

"I've never heard such a risky group." Suika comments.

"Is that even safe?!" Ginro adds.

"He might be like, "I'm the chief!" and attack you or something, Senku!" Chrome remarks, tilting his head to (Y/n), "(Y/n)-neechan! Say something! You don't actually agree to this, do you?!"

"Well.." (Y/n) tilts her head to the side to exchange a dead panned expression, "--If he does attack us, what can you do, right? Besides, I don't have the strength to start an argument this early in the morning, sorry." She chuckles. She blinks and hurries over to Gen, "Oh, I almost forgot!" She holds out a rolled paper to him, "Gen-san, I'm leaving my will to you, just in case if Senku, Chrome, and I were to disappear because of Magma!" She hears screams from behind coming from Suika, Kaseki, Chrome, and Kohaku.

"It's like she's trying to get herself killed!" Kohaku yells.

"What the hell, (Y/n)-neechan?!" Followed by Chrome.

"(Y-Y-Y/n)'s going die?!" Suika says as she trembles.

"Rethink this!" Kaseki warns her, "You have so much to live for, and this is coming from an old man like me!"

Senku cackles at this, picking his ear, "Good idea. You never know what's to happen, right?"

"Don't encourage her!" He was scolded by the four.

Gen hesitates, exchanging an innocent smile, "I see, I see." He accepts the rolled up paper, "You can count of me."

(Y/n) lifts a finger, "Remember not to open until we actually disappear!"

"I got it, I got it." Gen says sheepishly.

"You really do spend way too much time with Senku.." Kohaku mutters under her breath.

"Come on, let's get going, the four of us." Senku says, "We're after the magic stone that we'll need for making vacuum tube filaments: scheelite, which glows blue under ultraviolet light. The most heatresistant metal in the world, tungsten!"

Chrome gazes down at the rock Suika retrieved, "This chunk came down a stream in the cave, too. There must a treasure trove further in."

"I'm counting on you to take us to the cave, Chrome."

"Got it!"

Magma steals a glance at the three, squinting his eyes slightly, 'Going into the caves with three science users...no one will be watching.' He notices Gen slowly walking up to him from behind, stopping to stand right beside him to whisper a request.

And so, the four departed their ways from the campus, and made their way to the cave where they'd retrieve the minerals they anticipated to find. The second they left from his view, Gen gives a wide smirk, "He's finally gone. Senku-chan's gone from Ishigami Village.

The four arrived at the cave, and Senku dips his fingers in the narrow stream at the entrance of the cave, "The water's lukewarm. We can definitely expect some treasure." Senku informs to the three.

Chrome steals a look at Magma, having second thoughts of bringing Magma in the first place, assuming that he'd take the chance to steal the chief position by attempting to kill Senku, maybe even (Y/n).

"Don't give that look." (Y/n) walks pass him, "It's fine. There's a reason why we brought him, you know. I don't know about you, but I trust him." She walks ahead, and Chrome took no second thought in following her from behind.

Chrome hesitates, "Why do you trust him, (Y/n)-neechan?"

(Y/n) chuckles, "It doesn't hurt to give someone a chance to reveal their true colors." She smiles warmly, "Why'd you think Senku and I remained as friends throughout the years?" Chrome blinks a few times, and doesn't reject her remark, traveling his eyes downwards.
