"He's here!" Sofia announces and everyone scattered to their desks. Mr Blanchet walked in before pausing and tilting his head like a curious dog.

"Why are you all acting suspicious?" he tries to hide his smile. He was a very cheerful man, always smiling, always laughing.

"No reason boss," Sierra cleared her throat and made herself look busy. My eyes widened as I clicked onto what was happening and made myself look busy too.

"Eden, can you schedule me a meeting? I'll email you the details. I'm just grabbing a few things before I leave for the day - wife wants me looking after the kids so she can go get groceries and yadda yadda yadda." he chuckled and I nodded, smiling at him.

After a few minutes of him shuffling about in his room and writing me the email, we finally watched as he left the building, everyone finally resumed the conversations we had left off.

The door opened and a boy around my age walked in.

"Holland! Didn't think you'd show up." Sierra teased and he rolled his eyes at her, fixing the cuffs of his blazer.

"Some of us actually have women to attend to," he retorted quickly. As a result Sofia muttered an 'ouch' and Zack started to chuckle.

Sierra stood up and glanced over at me before her eyes returned to the man, "I can satisfy a women better than you can satisfy yourself." a sly smirk spread across her lips, a smirk that caused my heart to flutter. "You are a child, what do you know about women?" her accent slipped through. My eyes shut as I took it in, savouring the sound of every vowel and every syllable.

This is a dangerous game. One that I can't play.

But I'm probably going to anyways.

I think I'd do anything for a taste of Sierra and I'm pretty sure she would do the same for me with the way she looks at me. But, could just be reading into it.

My stomach flutters just thinking about her hands on my body, where they'd go and what they'd do.

When I brought myself down from planet Sierra, I notice I was staring right at her. That smirk was brought back onto her face as her teeth captured the skin on her bottom lip.

She had those playful eyes, with a very familiar fire in them. They pulled away from mine and slowly moved down to my neck, to my chest, to my stomach.

I cleared my throat before opening the email I was sent.

I walk into my new apartment, unopened boxes lying in the empty space. Zack standing next to me.

"Thanks for letting me stay with you." He moved over and opened a few boxes pulling out ikea furniture from my old place. "I'll help with bills et cetera. Ooo and I can tutor you! You have much French to learn." He grinned, excited for the memories.

I don't even plan to stay here for longer than I have to. When I leave he can just have the apartment.

The plan is to stay here for a year max, then go back to Julia... if she'd have me back that is.

"I never actually stayed in my old place in the last few months. I just stayed at my girlfriend's," I paused thinking over what I said, "ex girlfriend's. I ruined things when I disappeared on her."

"You left her?" He slumps on the ground.

"Without a word."

He didn't poke much further, despite his want to. It just meant we assembled furniture for the rest of the day.

"So, why Paris?" he questioned breathlessly when we finished setting everything up.

"Why not Paris? It's basically everyone's dream to come here. I found the opportunity and went for it." He nodded as I sat next to him. After a few minutes of silence, I wearily open up to him. Telling him pretty much everything. It felt... nice to get it off my chest, "I'm young, and I make a lot of mistakes. I have made some awful choices." Zack looked over at me with a small comforting smile, "When I had found out about her arranged marriage, and that it wasn't to me, I cheated on Julia with her best friend and then left both of them when I was trying to patch things up."

"Well, if I had the opportunity you had... I cannot say, truthfully, that I would act any different." He rested his head on my shoulder and a smile pulled at my lips. "Looking back, I'd say I'd do something different, but I wouldn't really."

There was a knock at the door and I opened it to see Audrey standing there with a few things.

"Housewarming gifts! I've had them since you got here, but you've been in such a depressive state that I waited until you got out of it." She lifted them up to me with a big smile. My eyes began to water as Zack and I took the gifts. "I brought champagne too, but it's in a cooler in my car."

We sat down on the old couch I had, Zack wanted to pitch in to get a new one soon that fit our personality.

Audrey brought snacks and we opened the Champagne while putting on a show. Audrey and Zack turned to each other then shifted back to me. They have already become chummy since I had enlightened my friend to my decision.

"What have you got going on with Sierra?" Zack asked and my eyebrows shot up. "She'd been stealing glances from you all day. Are you interested?"

"That is information I can't give you," my god, it's like they can sniff it off of me. My focus drifted. Imagining her eyes moving over my body, her hands stopping at just the right places-

Oh my god stop. I can't think about her like that. I'm supposed to be heartbroken, but instead I'm just thirsting for a different girl. I need to get laid more... preferably by a french woman called Sierra. How am I meant to heal and be a good person for Julia if I just end up not learning anything and doing the same thing again!

"She's a player," Zack warned and I rolled my eyes at him.

"I was with Julia, how bad can she be?"
