“I told you it's a terrible idea!”Bilal whisper-yelled at Faaz while looking at an unconscious Yara laying on her bed. She looked like a scared pancake if pancakes could be scared.

“Bilal, don't exaggerate it. Now it will be easier to scare her.”However, the mastermind Faaz Ali Shah was damn confident, or I say overconfident at his display of stupidity.

“Faaz, she can suffer a trauma just because of your this stupid Scare The Pancake prank.”Bilal was serious while saying so. He was trying to make Faaz understand that he was doing it in the wrong way. However, it was quite hard to show the difference to Faaz, because since childhood he has seen fear as a way to hold people back.

“It's not a prank. I am serious when I am saying I want to scare her. I need a wife for the next five years if I want my share in the property. And Yara or any other girl won't do that unless I terrify her.”As I said, he sees fear as a way to keep people rooted back in him.

“Now I understood why your father handed all the responsibilities to your brother, and not you. Faaz, if you want someone to stay, you need to build trust and not terror.”Bilal was literally shocked at Faaz's way of holding Yara back. He used to think that Faaz is innocent, but no, Faaz was innocent in the most devilish ways.

“Trust and her? She wouldn't have ever trusted her family, then why she will trust me?”As I said, he was innocent in the most devilish ways.

“Then why she would have decided to stay with you? She is trying to trust you, Faaz.”

“Bilal, now you are crumbling down my self-confidence.”And yes, he thinks of his over-confidence as self-confidence.

“If it was up to me I would have crumbled you down into tiny pieces.”Bilal threatened him in sheer anger.

“Hey, don't you dare scare me, huh. I am a black belt in Judo.”Forget about dare, Faaz was actually scared of Bilal's temper.

“And I was boxing champion in my high school.”Bilal smirked, while cracking his knuckles. Faaz could literally imagine Bilal cracking his neck.

“Master Faazi, I have brought the sauce for you.”They heard Albert, the one who played victim in Faaz's Scare The Pancake mission and who worked as a butler in the house.

Faaz and Bilal exited Yara's bedroom and witnessed an as always smiling Uncle Albert.

“Thanks for the sauce, Albert Uncle.”

“Now tell me what you want to eat for the lunch. I'll inform the chef.”said Albert.

“Something South-asian.”

“Alright.”Saying so Albert headed to the kitchen.

“Faaz, you will regret this. I am warning you.”Bilal warned him for the last time before leaving. However, his steps halted when something crossed his mind.

“And yes, perhaps your brother will be visiting you today.”

Faaz simply ignored this piece of information and took a seat on the dining table. Bilal huffed frustratingly at Faaz's display of ignorance and marched out of the apartment. While Faaz began playing his favourite game of Subway Surfers.

“C'mon, Jack, let's escape that bulky policeman and his dirty dog.”

★★★

Painful screams.

Lots of blood.

His heartless demeanor.

Everything was fresh in her memories as she opened her eyes to an empty master bedroom, which once belonged to him.

And all of a sudden, the simplicity of the room, which attracted her previously, began haunting her to death.

The air of the room smelled like him.

Marking his presence.

In her life.

She jolted up from the bed, tears threatening to fall once again.

And her gaze fell on her top.

It had stains of blood.

The blood that covered his hands.

She immediately removed the top and threw it away. Yara was scared. Scared of him. Scared of everything that was connected to him. How unfortunate! She was herself connected to him. She was... his wife.

And she broke down into tears, letting the fear finally break her facade of strong girl.

She looked at the top she threw in a corner of the room.

Throwing away the top won't be the solution.

She thought.

“I need to get rid of the blood stains.”As if promising herself she will face the truth rather than crying like a coward.

And she picked the top, tracing the stains of blood.

But suddenly a mouth-watering aroma entered her nose. And it was coming from that top of hers. She smelled the fabric closely, while making a weird face.

“Tomato sauce!”She said out loud in astonishment.

“This isn't blood, but sauce!”And all of a sudden, tables turned. The seriousness was replaced by confusion and shock in the most comic ways.

“That idiot Faaz made a fool out of me!” Not a big deal, Yara. Because Foolish is your middle name, remember?

“Faaz Ali Shah, you are gone. You tried to scare me, now you'll see what I'll do.”

Now you tell me.

Can anything be more hilarious?

★★★

I just hope it was funny.
