Let's start from the very beginning.

One fine day I and my classmates were returning to the classroom when I met Gagandeep in corridor. I had read a short story she wrote, a love tragedy to be exact, and I liked her writing style. So there I told her that whenever she writes another story, give it a happy ending, exactly what I messaged her on Instagram before. And she told me she actually have a story idea and it's a Mafia story.

Now fast-forwarding the time, one Sunday I, out of blue, messaged her on Instagram.
“Gaggu, tell me about that mafia story.”
She was free at that time so she began giving me a summary of the story in Roman Punjabi.

And I was laughing non-stop.

How a drunk girl ended up marrying a Mafia.

And then she told that I can write it if I want, because she doesn't have time. And I agreed, because I didn't want to leave that story. If only it's bits and pieces made me laugh so hard, a proper story will be so much funny, that's what made me write this story.

While watching Chupke Chupke, I really liked the name Faaz, so that's why Faaz was named Faaz.

About Yara, I have read this name in a couple of Wattpad books.

Fazaan is an imaginary name. I don't know if this name exists or not.

Dur E Fishan was inspired from a Pakistani actress Dur E Fishan Saleem. She is also the face claim of the female lead of my upcoming book RICH HEARTS.

Bilal was supposed to be a recurring character. That's why I didn't bother giving a unique name to him. But now I don't want to change his name.

Isha'a has an interesting story. She had no proper scene in the book, yet I wrote her.

One Friday, when majority of my classmates were absent, I was chatting with my two classmates Manraj and Isha. I asked Isha about the meaning of her name. So she replied that in Muslims Isha is a prayer and in Hindus Isha means Goddess Durga. And that was enough reason for me to create this character.

To be honest, now I feel very childish to write this book. And guilty as well, because I know I have messed up the ending. But the problem is that I get writer's block if I write one particular story for more than a month. Though this book took about four months, which must have improved my patience, I hope so.

In the ending, I hope you all liked reading this book.

Dear readers, keep reading and Dear Fellow Authors, keep writing. Because constant reality checks are exhausting. We all know that life is tough. But a little escape won't do any harm.
