Ch-15 Twenty-Five Girlfriends

Just after updating that Maybe On Hold note, I got a good idea for the next chapter. So the On Hold has been cancelled. 😁

“Faazi...” Yara mumbled while sitting beside him on the swing placed on the balcony adjacent to the living area.

“Hmm?” Faaz turned towards her.

“I had a boyfriend before you.” She confessed in one breath.

Faaz didn't react for the first few moments, there was no sign of shock or disappointment on his face. But he was in deep thoughts as if he wanted to confess something as well.

“Yara...” He started.

“Yes?” She was nervous to hear him speak.

“I also had.” His sentence was improper. And he said it improperly intentionally.

“A boyfriend!?” Well, you can't expect anything sensible from Yara.

“Hell, no! I mean I had girlfriends.” Point to be noted ‘Girlfriends’, not ‘Girlfriend’.

“Girlfriends? Exactly how many girlfriends?”

“Umm... let me think. Marianna, Catherine, Kinza, Farzana, Nadia, Nandini, Olivia, Rylie, Adelaide, Sameera, Sonya, Maya, Tara, Evelyn, Camila, and ten others.” He counted his girlfriend on his tips.

“Haw! You had twenty-five girlfriends!?” Yara shrieked.

“Yeah.” He shrugged as if it wasn't a big deal.

“And how many of them shared a bed with you?” Her expression was murderous, however, poor Faaz couldn't notice it as he was busy reminiscing his many love affairs.

“Only ten of them.”

And his arm was met by a punch.

“I hate you!” And Yara kept punching which appalled Faaz to run away. But Yara chased behind him in the whole apartment.

And that's how another Tom and Jerry chase began.

“Yara, baby, it happened before you. I swear I never even gazed at a woman wrongly since we got married.” Faaz tried to explain. Well, no one ever told him that discussing his many ex-girlfriends with his wife will be this much dangerous.

“What's the guarantee you'll be loyal forever?”

“I will be loyal because I love you!”

And everything went silent.

He confessed.

Finally!

Yara was as silent as ... silence? She visibly looked shocked, surprised, astounded, or whatever synonyms you could use.

He took advantage of her drunken state to marry her. Means she was tricked into this marriage. However, it turns out her tricky husband was also a cute guy with the weirdest sense of humor. And now he confessed that he loves her.
