Dr. Ivo appears with his granddaughter, Blaire, who is a big fan of Sonic and Shadow.

Sonic is delighted by her cuteness and plays with her, while Shadow observes with a small, unnoticed smile.

Dr. Ivo steps aside to take a phone call, and a scream is heard in the distance, interrupting the lighthearted moment.

"What the-?" Shadow turned his head to where the scream came from, and he saw a motorcycle flying towards them.

*Crash*

The motorcycle crashed into a car nearby and Shadow just covered his face with a hand while Sonic turned away from the crash as he hugged the child close to him, crouching down, and puffing out his quills as glass flew all over the place.

Shadow growled ahead before he looked down at himself, there was glass stuck to his skin and he starts picking at them one by one.

"Seriously?" Sonic angrily looked at where Shadow growled.

There was something big standing in the middle of the city that was causing chaos.

"Blaire!" Ivo exclaimed as he ran to the three.

"I'm fine grandpa!" The child perked up as Ivo took her back from Sonic.

"Thank you Sonic."

Sonic smiled at him with a thumbs-up as he walked a few feet away from them and shook his body and pulled out glass that got stuck in between his quills. He looked over at Shadow who was pulling out bits of glass that stuck through his skin.

"Sha-" He was about to go over to the older Hedgehog when Ivo patted on his shoulder, Sonic looked at him, and Ivo shook his head and looked at Shadow. Sonic frowned and turn his gaze back to the striped Hedgehog.

"Just watch, he'll be fine."

Ivo covered his granddaughter's eyes because it was something he didn't want her to see.

Shadow removed a glove with his teeth and used a claw to dig out a small piece of glass that got into his thigh. Blood spurted out along with a small shiny object, Shadow winced and a 'tsk' was heard as he huffed, then the wound started to close and heal by itself as Sonic watched, it baffled him and he looked at Ivo for answers.

"He's called the 'The Ultimate Lifeform' for a reason. He was made to be Maria's healer and protector." Ivo explained with a smile as he removed his hand from Blaire's eyes.

"Grandpa look!" Blaire pointed in the distance. "It's a big white monkey! So pretty!"

They turn their heads towards it and guessed it was the one who sent motorcycle flying in their direction.

It was sitting cross legged in the middle of the city, as helicopters were flying all around it.

It was a large creature it reminded them of the one they fought 4 years ago. It resembled a Capuchin, it had snow-white, thick, silky coat with eerie glowing blue undertones. Its glowing red orbs with vertical pupils staring straight into the distance. It had distorted humanoid features and sharp pointed teeth. Its tail, atleast 8 feet long, its prehensile, and it looked perfect for grasping victims.
