I know that you cant easily identify people in ppe. We wear a hair cap, face mask, protective googles and a hood over all of them. Entire body will be covered by loose cover and gloves for the hands. The only way people identify each other is by the voice, height and eyes. Me being shorter than her made the ward boy think that i am nikhita and she is maithli.

I said "we both have a high pitch voice and around same height. But you always put mascara to eyes so its easy to identify. She took me to her room and took mascara from her bag.

She pleaded me for 5 minutes and i know there won't be much work at reception. So i accepted. She said wash my face and gave her face wash. By the time i came she removed her mascara. She made me sit and applied mascara to my eyes. She once again smiled and said you look like a woman. I put my mask, googles and left to the reception. She went to the second floor.
At the reception: everyone thought i am nikhita. Receptionist even complemented that i look good and asked which company mascara i use. I don't know what to answer and said "philips." She laughed. Receptionist said i need to go to a other hospital and talk to the doctor there. I left to the other hospital. I am going to meet the a gynaecologist and went in the PPE. I explained her about the lab services package at my hospital. In the mean time a man came running shouting that her wife is in labor. She asked me to come along with her to the labor room. Nurse was not available at that time and she asked me to help her deliver. I said "i am neither doctor nor nurse." She said "every women must know how to deliver. I will teach you now" Patient was shouting in pain. With no other option i assisted her. Mother was screaming loudly in pain. I got horrified by all those screams and tears started rolling from my eyes. Doctor saw me and said "i think you are not married yet and you will go through the same pain while you are in labor. Luckily doctor delivered a healthy female baby within 5 minutes and placed the baby in my hands and asked to wipe her. At the same time i am getting a call and didn't lift it. I took the baby and cleaned her. I brought the baby back to the mother.
At the second floor: doctor asked her to arrange a substitute nurse. Everyone thought she was maithli charan. At the same rime chairman entered the ward. he asked nikhita to come to his room. She called me but i didn't lift the call. She cussed me and went to the chairman room and said "may i come in sir?"
He said "come in. Did you get a clean shave? Show me your face"
She hesitantly removed the mask and showed her face. Chairman gave a weird expression on face and she thought that she got caught.
He said "you look a like a different person without beard and moustache. You look like a girl."
She stayed silent and he asked her to leave.
