Emily's POV:
It was about 5 o'clock when I looked at my phone. I almost forgot we were meeting everyone at the ice skating rink at 6. "Crap. Ali, babe, we have to go home and get ready." I leaned over and said. We stood up and went over to my mom and dad and gave hugs, thanked them for dinner, and said good bye. The rink was about a half hour out of Rosewood. We got home and grabbed our skates, jackets, gloves, and hats. I had to sneak into the bedroom and grab her ring while she was in the bathroom. She walked out when I was putting on my jacket. "You ready princess?" I asked her. She smiled and nodded her head yes. I walked over and gave her a kiss. I grabbed her hand and led her out the door and to the car. As we got closer I got more and more nervous. The drive seemed to go quick. We pulled in and of course Spencer and toby were already waiting. I thought we were going to be early. But of course Spencer is and hastings. We walked in and waited for everyone else. Aria and Ezra got there and do it five minutes after us. And of course Hanna was fashionably late coming in twenty-five minutes later. We all put on our skates and headed to the ice. I stepped right on and took a few strides. I looked back and Ali was at the edge. "Come on babe. You got this." She gave me a nervous look. I went over and grabbed her hands. "I got you babe. I promise. I won't let you go." I reassured her. "I love you." She said. "I love you too princess. " I said back. She stepped onto the ice and we took it slow. After a while she was like a pro. She's so amazing. I skated over to her and grabbed her hand. We skated around together for a little bit. She had her arm interlocked with mine and her head on my shoulder. It had been about two hours and I thought it was time. I looked over at Aria and she knew what I meant.
Aria's POV:
Tonight is amazing. All of my best friends and I are ice skating. It's the best time I've had in a long time. This is Ezra's first time ice skating so he fell a few times. And to be honest it was so funny. But after a little bit of taking it slow he got the hang of it. But the best part of all I get to help both em and Ali with their special gifts for each other. I was skating with Ezra when I saw em look my way. I knew exactly what she meant. It's time. I got the other girls attentions and we all waited for em to take the lead. I'm so excited!
Ali's POV :
Tonight has truly been the best Christmas I have ever had. I have all my best friends and the love of my life here tonight. I love skating with em. It's always been a little dream of mine. It's so cute and romantic. I had my head on her shoulder slowly skating just thinking about us when she headed for the benches. "Whatcha doin babe?" I asked. I saw everyone else head this way too. "Just taking and break." She said. She seemed a little nervous. I wonder what's wrong? Everyone gathered around.
Hanna : for the two years you were assumed dead, Em always knew deep inside it wasn't true.
Spencer : she never gave up no matter what was in her way.
Toby : she never stopped thinking about you or looking for clues that would lead to you.
Aria : she loved you against reason, against promise.
Caleb : she loved you against peace, against hope.
Ezra : she loved you against happiness.
"And I loved you against all discouragement that could be. If someone would have told me a year ago that today I would be standing in an ice skating rink with my supposed dead best friend who is now my girlfriend and the love of my life, I would have laughed straight in their face. This is still so unreal. I can't believe you're alive, I can't believe we kissed in a hotel, I can't believe we made love, I can't believe you asked me to be your girlfriend in front of the whole school, I can't believe we have a house together, I can't believe we had our first fight, and I can't believe that we are stronger than ever now spending this holiday together. I feel like I'm waiting for someone to wake me up from this dream. But it is reality. I am the luckiest person alive. Thank you so much Alison Lauren DiLaurentis for giving this a chance. This is so where my life is supposed to be going. I love you so much. I never truly loved anyone else because I could never give them my heart. You took it so many years ago and I never wanted it back. You're the one I belong to. I am forever yours. You are my princess and one day I intend on making you my queen. But for now I wanted to know if you would accept this ring. To promise one day we will get married and we will forever keep our love and we will be faithful to each other for as long as we are alive. Because I promise you Alison Lauren DiLaurentis I will always love you and I will forever be faithful to you and I'm damn sure you will be my wife one day. Will you accept this ring?" Em said to my. Tears were streaming down my face. I was so over joyed I could barely talk. "Yes." I managed to get out. I pulled her into my lips and kissed her. When we kissed, it felt like we were the only two people in the whole world in that moment. When we broke the kiss she put the ring on my finger. Everyone else had tears in their eyes. The ring looked like a princess crown. She always calls me princess. It's so cute. "God I love you em." I said. "I love you too princess. I really do mean that." She said.
