Emily's POV:
Ali and I are all moved in to our new house. It's so big compared to the apartment. She's still finishing up on some decorating. I think it's cute when she decorates. She's so serious, but, fashion was always her thing. I've been thinking a lot about college. She's going for fashion, which was no surprise. I've really been thinking about going to be a cop. It's always interested me. I might go to college to get a degree in criminal justice and go to work for the FBI or CIA. I haven't really decided but I know Ali will support me either way. I'm going to talk to her about it later. I'm going to cook her a nice dinner for the first time in the new house. We have all new stainless steel appliances. I absolutely love them. "Hey babe. I'm going to go to the store and grab some things for dinner. Do you need anything while I'm out?" I ask her. "No. I'm good baby. I have everything I need to finish decorating. Be careful. I love you." She said back. I walked over and kissed her before I left. I walked out to the garage and got into the car. It's so nice to not have to walk down all those stairs and through the brew to get to our car anymore. I hop in the car and drive to the store. For dinner, I'm going to cook salmon, steamed broccoli and some Alfredo noodles. This was her favorite dinner and I figured I would cook it for her for the first dinner in the new house.
Ali's POV:
The new house is so beautiful. Em really did a great job at picking it out and getting it all ready for us. I absolutely love it. I still can't believe we have our own house. I continued to decorate while em went to the store to get some dinner. I was thinking about having everyone over Saturday night for a little house warming party. Since it's Sunday it should give us enough time to invite everyone and get ready. I still need to talk to em about it but I planned to at dinner tonight. Before I know it, em comes home from the store. "That was quick." I said to her. "I knew exactly what I was getting." She said with a grin as she came over and gave me a kiss. "What are you making?" I asked. "It's a surprise." She said. She walked over to the kitchen and pulled everything out of the bag. She clearly wanted to give me a surprise so I didn't try and look. I finished up in the living room and went to our bedroom to finish a few things. I bought some blackout curtains just for em because I know the sun wakes her up in the mornings. Our room is very simple but tasteful. It's black and white with some hints of Paris around the room. We have an Eiffel Tower lamp, a picture of us in Paris and a couple other small and subtle things. I went into our bathroom that is connected to our room and started cleaning it. It wasn't dirty but I just wanted to give it a good scrub down because I hadn't gotten the chance to since we've moved in. Apparently more time had passed than I thought. "Dinner is ready babe." Em said. She walked up behind me and grabbed my hips. She kissed me lightly on the neck. I turned around and met her lips. "Come on." She said and led me out to the dining room. "Baby! You didn't have to." I said. "Well it's your favorite and this is our first actual dinner in the new house." She said and walked over to get my chair for me. I sat down and we began to eat.
Emily's POV:
"I have something I'd like to talk to you about." I said. She gave me a concerned look. " I've been doing some thinking and I've decided that I want to go to the academy and become a police officer. I was thinking about going to college to get a degree in criminal justice but I think I just want to go to the academy. I wanted to see what you thought about it before I went any further." She sat there and thought for a moment. "Em, you know that's such a dangerous job, especially in this town. But if that's what you want to do for your career, I'll back you 100%." She said. "I was so worried you'd be upset with me. I know it's dangerous, but I want to help with that danger. And maybe one day when you're done with college, we can move to a bigger city so you can get a good job and I can move on to bigger things that rosewood." I told her. "That sounds like a plan to be baby." She leaned over her plate to me and gave me a kiss. "I love you Ali." " I love you too em. Since you addressed me about your thoughts, I figured I would too. How would you feel about a house warming party?" Ali asked me. "That sounds like a great time." I said. " Great! How about next Saturday night? I can take care of texting everyone and we can grill out if you want." She offered. "It's a plan babe." I said and we continued to eat our dinner. My next step is signing up for the summer police academy. I can't wait for it.
