Emily's POV :
I was at work when I realized I didn't have my phone. "Can I run upstairs real quick to grab my phone?" I asked my boss. "Sure. Just hurry please." He said. I ran upstairs and opened the door. Apparently I was quiet because they didn't look over. "What the hell?!" Ali said. "That's what I said." I said as tears built in my eyes. "Em.." is all she said. I turned and ran out the door. "Wait em!" She yelled. "What. What could you possibly say right now." I said. "I didn't do that. It was him!" She said. "Of course it was. It's always someone else. I knew it was a bad idea for you two to be partners." I said. She didn't say anything. She just cried. It was silent for a few minutes. "I'm so sorry em." Was all she said. "Me too." "What?" She asked. "Sorry I trusted you to be alone with him. Sorry I ever wanted to move in with you. I'm sorry for everything. Apparently it's all too soon." I said. "What are you saying." She asked. "I think we should take a break for a while." I said. It killed me to say that. But what was I supposed to do. I just caught her cheating on me. "Em. No please. I can't live with out you."She pleaded. "Ali don't. I can't do this right now."i said and walked away. I went downstairs and told my boss I have to go. He understood. I ran to my mom's house. And went inside. "Honey what's wrong?" She asked. "I just caught Ali kissing that guy Erin. I knew it. She doesn't love me. So I ended it. I told her we should take a break." I said. I started crying. "Awe honey. It will be alright. Maybe this is what you need for right now."She said. I ran up to my room and slammed down on my bed and just started crying. I felt my phone vibrate. It was Ali. Five missed calls and seven texts. I just shut my phone off. I could talk to her. I cried until I fell asleep.
Ali's POV :
"I think we should take a break." Em said. I watched her run away with tears in her eyes. I tried to run after her but my body wouldn't let me. I turned around and went inside. "Get out." I said calmly. "What why?" Erin said back. "Why? Because you just caused the love of my life to take a break! That's why! Get the fuck out!" I yelled. He just looked at me for a minute. He grabbed his things and walked out. "I'm sorry. " He said as he passed me. I didn't say anything back. I pulled out my phone and called em over and over. She didn't pick up. I texted her.
Ali: Em please pick up.
Please. I have to talk to you.
This can't be it Em.
I love you! That wasn't me!
Please!
Please call me back. We have to talk.
Em..
I texted her seven times. She never called me back or replied. I drove to my parents house. I stormed in and my dad was in the living room. "Ali what's wrong. Are you okay?" He asked. "Em broke up with me because erin kissed me and she saw." I said as I ran to my room. I crawled into my bed and cried. How could this happen. This can't be it. I love her so much. I fell asleep crying and thinking about Em.
I woke up the next morning hoping this was all just a bad dream. It wasn't. I picked up my phone and called em she still didn't answer. I decided to leave her a voice mail. "Em if you get this, please just know I am so sorry. Erin kissed me. I love you and only you. Please call me back I need to talk to you. I love you." I started crying. She needs to call me. I need to tell her what happened. I can't be without her I need her. I waited for her to call. I ended up falling asleep again.
Emily's POV :
I woke up the next morning with a headache. I looked at my phone. 1 new voice mail. It was from Ali. As I listened to it I started to cry. I love her. I do but how can I be with her after she cheated on me. I decided to call her.
Ali: Em
Emily: hi.
Ali: I promise you I didn't do that. It was him.
Emily: for some reason I just can't bring myself to belive you ali.
Ali: please em you have to believe me. I would never do that. I only want you.
Emily : I can't do this right now Ali. I'm sorry.
I hung up and started crying. I can't believe we're over. I never thought she would do that. I needed someone to talk to.
Emily: I need someone right now.
Hanna: are you okay?
Emily: not really.
Hanna: be right there.
Hanna go there in five minutes. She stormed in my room. "What happened?" She asked. "I caught Ali kissing erin. And I ended it." I said. "Oh my god. That's terrible." She said as she hugged me. "Have you talked to her?" She asked. "A little. She keeps saying he kissed her. That she didn't kiss him. I just don't believe her for some reason." I told her. "It will be okay em I promise. We will get through this." She told me. We just laid there. Hanna stayed with me for a while. I cried on her shoulder and just watched some tv for a while.
Ali's POV :
I can't believe it's really over. I need her to understand. I decided to text Aria.
Ali: could you come over please? I need to talk to someone.
Aria: sure. Be there soon.
Aria got there with in ten minutes. She knocked before she came in. She walked over and sat on my bed. "What happened?"She asked me. "Yesterday erin and I were working on the project while em was working. I was reading when he just kissed me. I pushed him away and that when em said something. She saw us kiss. But he kissed me. I never kissed him back. She said we need to take a break. But she won't listen to me. I can't lose her Aria." I said as I started crying. "Oh Ali. I'm so sorry." She said. She grabbed me and hugged me. I started crying even harder. "I believe you. I know you love em. Just give her some time and space. She will come around I promise." She said. "Thank you Aria." I said. Aria stayed for a little bit. She just talked to me and helped me cheer up. I don't even want to go to school on Monday. I guess it's really over for us.
