Blank looked away and started speaking. "The CEO's preparing questions they want me to ask you, Chris. So I'll have to take you to the interrogation room later." Chris went back up to the bars and held onto them, slightly poking his head out. "How do you know my name??" Blank looked back at Chris, continuing to smile blankly. "I can't tell you much, but we have technology that allows us to learn some things about people."

Chris squinted its eyes curiously. "Tell me more." Blank blinked and responded, "I've told you enough." Blank looked away as Chris pleaded to know more. Blank became increasingly irritated, blanks smile fading a tad, and eventually gave in, sighing heavily. "Alright, fine. I'll tell you a bit more. But I won't get into much detail." Chris threw its arms up, victorious. "Yay!!!" Blank put its hand up to its mouth and thought for a second, carefully choosing how to word things. "Okay..." Blank looked at the ceiling as Chris held back onto the bars. Dav approached the bars as well to listen in.

"Our computers can look into a world that's bigger than ours. A world where our everyday life is entertainment for them. They've reduced the number of Athiests in the company." The boys stared him for a second. Chris pouted, "I don't get it." Blank smiled wider. Dav held a written-on piece of paper through the bars facing the employee. Blank looked over at it and leaned towards it a bit to read it. "we're fictional?" Blank sweated. They inhaled, looking away and crossing their arms. "Perhaps."

They all stood in silence for a bit until Blank remembered something else. "Oh, right. After I interrogate Chris, the two of you can go free while we figure out more about him." Chris claps happily. Dav scribbles on their notebook and holds out another piece of paper. "why not wipe his memory?" Blank again thought for a second and replied, "Well, it's kinda... special. Different. So, we're trying to figure it out." Chris was again confused and curious. "Wwwwhat do you mean?" Blank sighed. "Again, I can't say much." Chris groaned in frustration and rested its forehead on one of the cell bars.

Then, Chris too remembered something. "Oh, yeaaaah. I noticed in the rules of the watch that it referred to people from other worlds as 'characters' and said to treat them like real people because they are." Blank continued to stare off into the distance. Chris continued, "Are... other universes fictional too and everyone in this world knows, or??" Blank was again forced to think of what to say, but he was tired of thinking and sighed. He looked over at Chris and Dav, gave a short "Yeah.", and looked back at the floor. "Now, no more questions. My head hurts." Chris pouted again and turned away. "YOUR head hurts?"
