4: It's alive!!

The next day, Dav wakes up on his couch. He must've fallen asleep. He stood up and stretched and went to get some food. After eating a couple granola bars, they began texted Bladie that they were gonna try bringing Chris to Bladie's place, but before sending, he thought to himself. They didn't know each other very well. Chris might not trust Dav and might be extremely confused as to why a stranger he ran into on the street just brought him into another world like some animated Nutflex show. Dav decided that they'd get to know each other first.

D: "ey, i'm gonna try and bring Chris to your place if that's cool with you, but i'll do that some other day so me and Chris know each other better so it's not as weird or smthing"
B: "sounds good lol just make sure he doesn't kill me when he comes- and if he's a character, im not bailing u out of jail :)"
D: "lmao"

Dav put their phone away and tapped around on his watch. He teleported away to Spooky Month to socialize with Chris a bit. In a big empty field, after a few minutes of "dying", Dav checked their phone to see Chris messaged back. Dav replied to the messages and was happy to immediately get a reply this time.

C: "Sorry, I was busy and fell asleep. I'm available now, though!!"
C: "Are you busy and fell asleep too, lol?"

D: "yeah lmao, sorry. also, no worries. my friend has stuff to do now so you two'll have to meet some other time"
C: "Aw, that's too bad."
D: "since you're available, wanna hang out somewhere?"
C: "Sure!! Where do you wanna hang out?"
D: "hmmm...."
D: "do you like coffee?"
C: "Yep! I could use a coffee rn."
D: "how about that coffee place near Candy Club?"
C: "Perfect!! Meet you there!!"

Dav puts their phone away and walked through the grass and up a small hill into the city. They couldn't exactly remember where the coffee place was, but figured they'd find it eventually. He didn't trust GPS apps after they got him lost one time. He was walking for a bit when he spotted Chris up ahead on his phone. Dav's phone went off, playing a nostalgic pop song. They stopped walking and took it out. It was a text message from Chris.

C: "At the coffee place! You on your way?"
D: "yep, walking over. i can see you lol"

Chris to his left and then his right. It spotted Dav and waved. Dav waved back as they both put their phones away and approached each other. Chris smiled and greeted his new friend. "Nice to see you again!" Dav happily nodded. They went inside and got to know each other a bit. Chris would talk and Dav would quickly write on his notebook and show his response. Sometimes, Dav didn't have to write a response and could just watch Chris talk while nodding. They ended up getting lost in his eyes. Chris couldn't exactly tell if Dav was bored or interested, but found that it really enjoyed their company despite them being silent and poker-faced.

Chris eventually ran out of things to say and they both ended up happily staring at each other while sipping their beverages. After a bit, they both realized they were staring and turned red out of embarrassment. The meeting eventually came to an end and they once again parted ways, happy that they could get to know each other. Dav went back home and let his mind wander once again. This time, it was about their new feelings for Chris. Why do they feel this way towards him already? And what should they do with these feelings? Chris could never even like them back, right? Dav decided to sleep it off this time. It was only 7pm, but he could use some sleep. He went and got into some pajamas and went to sleep in his bed this time.
