After about a minute, the silence was broken by a muffled indie song. Blank took out his phone and turned it on, stopping the music. CEO had texted him.

C: "The questions are ready. Come back and collect the clipboard I put them on and go back for Chris. Have a guard stay in front of the cell when you leave and have them stay there until you release them after the interview."
B: "Yes, Mx."

Blank put its phone away and cupped a hand around its mouth and yelled, "HEY I NEED A SECURITY GUARD TO WATCH THIS CELL!!" There were fast footsteps quickly growing louder, and in no time, there was a security guard with brown hair in a ponytail and turquoise eyes with brown pupils standing in front of Blank. "Ah, knew you'd be the first to volunteer. I need you to watch this cell for a while until I tell you to leave." "Yes, sir." The two shuffled in a circle, the guard now at the wall and Blank standing in front of them. "I'll be right back to collect the beyblade hair." Blank walked away as Chris called out, "You WISH you had beyblade hair!!"

When Blank was out of sight, Chris looked over to the guard. "Hey, uh, are you able to tell me why I'm special?" The guard replied, "No," still standing straight and staring ahead. Chris stared at them and thought up another question. "Am I fictional?" The guard gave another dry response. "Yes." "...Ah." Chris backed away from the bars and sat on the bed with Dav. It leaned over to him and whispered, "I liked the other guy more." Footsteps were heard again and then there was a shadow looming over the boys. They looked up to see Blank tapping on the bars, letting off an echoey ringing noise. Chris grinned and pointed, "Hey, the other guy!! That was quick!" Blank stopped tapping. "Yep. C'mon, Chris. I'm taking you to the interrogation room." They opened the cell and Chris got up and stepped out. Blank handcuffed him and closed the cell.

Dav walked up to the bars and Chris and Dav looked at each other anxiously as Blank and Chris walked off. Once they were out of sight, Dav stopped watching and went back to the bed. He laid down on it, their arms folded under their head. He used this alone time to let his mind wander. He thought up scenarios, questions, possibilities, and eventually began to daydream about showing Chris around the city. Hopefully that happens. Hopefully nothing goes wrong.
