I lay quietly on my bed hugging my fluffy pillow, trying to sleep. I got home from school few hours ago. School was fun and ended so quick since it's the first day of resumption. On a normal day,school closes by 3pm but being the first week of resumption, by 1pm we're done for the day.

Though, I didn't do much in school, I feel so tired. I've been trying to sleep but the sleep is not even coming and it's so frustrating.

You know that feeling when you're so tired and just wanna take a break, but then sleep decides to run far far far away from you. Yes, that feeling! That's exactly how I feel rn.

"Omo,this sleep is wicked o" , I muttered staring into the room.

I and my sisters share the same room, it contains two beds, three couches, deskspace dedicated for studies, a large wardrobe which we share, a medium sized mirror with accessories. It's a big room painted gold & cream with a faux fur rug.

I rolled my eyes on sighting my sister's bed; their school uniform, school bag, notebook, socks, even their shoes scattered on their bed.

Only God will save them from being so messy.

I looked away and saw a picture hanging on the wall. We took that picture on Taiwo and Kehinde's 1st year birthday. Taiwo wore a baby pink princess gown with a pink hairband and white shoe while Kehinde wore the same gown but yellow in colour, yellow hairband and white shoe. I carried Taiwo while Emmanuel carried Kehinde. Mom & Dad stood behind us, Dad's left hand by mum's waist and his other hand on Emmanuel's shoulder while Mom placed her hand on my shoulder.

This picture brings back old memories, I really miss my Dad even though it's been 8 years now. He's such a cheerful man, a loving father, and he's the bestest friend anyone can ever have, even though I'm not sure there's a word like "bestest". He was my bestest friend and I really love him.

"All is well" I sighed and wiped the tears dropping from my eyes.

The door knob twisted and Kehinde's head popped in. She entered the room and bounced on my bed.

"Kilosele o (What happened)?" I asked coz I'm not just in the mood for any disturbance.

She examined me well and placed on her hand on my forehead, " What's wrong with you? Why do you seem so moody and oh your eyes seems red, were you crying?" She questioned, her voice laced with concern.

How many questions at a time.

"See Kehinde, leave me alone, I'm okay" I said.

"Okay o but I still sense lies in your words" She affirmed.

"Na you Sabi" I said.

Taiwo walked in with a big bowl of something I don't know, still munching on it, she looked up and saw the confused look I and Kehinde has on. "What?" She asked pretending not to know the reason for the look.

Kenny replied with a scowl "Water & Garri make Eba for your wedding day" She hissed.

"Thank God you're my twin, you'll be the only one to eat the Eba on my wedding day infact you'll still pack home" Taiwo said laughing.

"What's funny to this one", Kenny asked with a hiss.

Taiwo rolled her eyes and joined us on my bed. I repeat my own bed. Though their bed is big but scattered, infact, messed up, they prefer squeezing themselves on my bed. Not like my bed is small o but it's not as big as theirs.

"Don't dirty my own bed with whatever you are eating". I said peeping into the bowl in her hand, " Aaah, didn't you just finished noodles, what's up with this big bowl of cornflakes and I hope it's not my milk you used because I don't even understand you again? " I questioned with a mean scowl.

"Eeeh!! Noodles since when?, I was hungry o and took two packs of cornflakes....

"Two packs!!!" Kehinde cut in and exclaimed. "Didn't you just eat noodles, it's not even up to an hour" She added.

"Answer my question, did you use my milk?" I yelled.

"I'm sorry,pls forgive me, I used just small" She said with a pout and emphasized on the 'small', demonstrating it with her hand. I slammed my hand on my forehead, slightly lowering my head, I let out a deep sigh, I looked up and glared at her,"Go and bring it, let me see" I said already feeling so frustrated.
