What if . . .?

Well all know that Peter 3 saved Nathaly but what if it was Peter 1? Would history repeat itself?

MJ falls backwards, tumbling off the collapsing scaffolding.

"SAVE MJ!" Nathaly told her suit and as she felt the suit float away to MJ and save her.

Ned grabbed Nathaly and grabbed her hand but he couldn't hold it, "Nat-I can't hold it any longer!"

Nathaly looks at the ground and then back at him, "Let me go."

Ned looks at the brunette surprised, "What?! No! Please no!"

Nathaly smiled softly with tears forming in her eyes, "It's okay."

Ned shook his head, "No!" Nathaly yanks her hand out of his and she couldn't help but to scream as she was falling.

Ned tries to catch her, but LOSES HIS OWN FOOTING! He barely manages to grab a bent pole, dangling in mid-air...

Peter 3, hearing Nathaly, dives after her reaching out. "Can't let this happen again!" He repeated over in his head. Nathaly looks at his brown eyes as she falls. Peter and Nathaly's hands nearly touching but then.

Wham! Green Goblin, who was on his glider SLAMS into him, carrying Peter in the opposite direction!

Nathaly's eyes go wide in horror as she continues falling. Her Peter jumps down and he stares as her with a determined face he can't let his fear come true.

He shoots a web toward her. Nathaly knew it would catch her very late, she let her tears fall as she looked one last time at the guy she loved. "I love you, Peter Parker." She mouthed to him. His heart clenched as he started into those brown eyes that he loves.

Her beautiful brown hair, her beautiful skin, he loved the way she laughed at his stupid jokes, he loved how she punched Beck in the face, he loved everything about her.

Why?

Why now?

Why was he just realizing his feeling towards her?

He saw memories flash through his head and realizing she had been there for him. He is just realizing how soft her lips were when she kissed him back in Europe.

Realizing she loved him this whole entire time and he didn't even notice but when she told him her feelings  towards the boy he didn't return them back. He was to busy trying to ask MJ to be his boyfriend that he didn't realize how much he has hurt her.

He took this moment to take a good of her face. Her beautiful brown hair was flying around as the cold wind hits Nathaly's back. Her brown eyes held tears he could see his reflection in her eyes.

"I love you too, Nat! You'll be alright!" Peter 1 shouted through the rough wind. Nathaly just gave him a small sad smile.

"I'll Tell May, Tony, and Ben you said hi, Pete." Nathaly thought, her last thoughts.

Peter 1 watched as she closed her eyes and took one last breathe. He held on to the building to stop him from falling. Just when his web snags her waist her head impacted the ground and her body bounced back making a sickening crack coming from her body.

Peter 1 sticked his web at the building and jumps down. He had lost May, he couldn't lose Nathaly too.

He slowly walked to the brunette as she hangs limp. "Nat?" Peter gently grabbed her body and pulled the away from her waist.

The brunette didn't respond his heart was beating fast, "Nat! Please I lost May, I can't loose you too." His voice cracks as he stares at his lifeless friends body.

He places his forehead on hers, "Please, don't leave me." He caressed her cheek and blood ran down her nose.

"Please, I'm stupid for not loving you sooner." Peter sobbed and cried out as he held her body. He placed a kiss in her cold lips hoping she'd wake up but she stayed the same.

Peter let out a broken, grieving, scream. His scream echoed as he kept sobbing holding the girl he loved to late.

Cold, limp, dead body. The Peters and Ned and MJ ran to Peter after hearing his grieving scream. They all gasped quietly as they saw Nathaly limp in Peter's arm.

MJ slowly walked to the girl body as the suit bracelet attacked to the girl. "RUE? Is she alive?" Her voice cracked as she stares at her best friends body. She changed the name of the AI to make it more appropriate while she was wearing it.

"No sign of heartbeat." RUE says.

Peter 3 drops to his knees staring at the girl he grew attached to. "Not again, not again."

Ned guilty stares at her body thinking it was his fault. "It should've been me." Ned says quietly.

Peter 2 just stared and couldn't image losing his wife and kids he'd be a wreck.

Later when Peter got Dr. Strange to make everyone forget who's Peter Parker. He was getting his stuff in his new apartment that he was going to live in. Till he noticed something in one of his boxes.

Peter opened it and read it slowly.

(I tried to make it sad but I don't know I'm gonna leave the judging to y'all.)

Peter wiped the tears off his face and sat on his bed and kissed the letter that Nathaly left him. God, how he wished he wasn't stupid back then.

Nathaly's ghost was in front of him resting her forehead against his, "We'll see each other again, Pete. I love you." Nathaly kisses his lips in her ghost form and Peter felt coldness in his lips but ignored it. Nathaly looked at Peter sadly and the disappeared.

I guess you could say he fell in love with the right person but at the wrong time.
