Nathaly found herself running to MJ's donut shop and on her way Karen threw her coffee at her. Nathaly stopped as she gasped and glared at the women, "I got somewhere to be but keep this in mind. I will find you." Nathaly's voice dripped with venom and she continued to run as opened the door she just had to slip.
Her face hit the floor and her nose made a sickening sound. "Ow!"
"Oh my god?! Are you okay?" Peter ran over to help her up.
Nathaly looked straight at his brown doe eyes and then looked away. Her nose looked displaced and she was bleeding. "I'm fine, now let's open these suckers up!" She went over the counter where Ned and MJ were.
"Why are you wet?" MJ asks her best friend.
"Oh, an old lady or Karen as I like to call her, she threw her hot coffee on me." Nat says as she pulls out her MIT letter.
"What?!" Her friends exclaim. "Hey, I can handle a hot coffee burn. Now let's open these. It's making me nervous." As Nathaly started at her MIT letter. She planned to go there for her friends and because she wanted to go there because of Tony.
"Okay... ready?" MJ says but then MJ's BOSS approaches. "Jones, I told you to take down the Halloween decorations."
"Actually that was Sasha, so-." MJ started but her boss interrupted. "Enough attitude, just do it."
"On it." MJ swallows her pride.
"I feel like I'm gonna puke." Ned says.
"Same." Nathaly starts playing with her rings that she has on her fingers.
"Well don't... because he will just make me clean it." MJ tells her two friends.
"This is our only shot. It's here or nowhere." Ned says as he got a hold of Nathaly's hand stopping her from fidgeting her rings.
"Okay, you guys ready?" Nathaly says.
"Yeah..." They all chorused.
"Okay. On three? One, two, three-." MJ counted down. Deep breaths, then each opens their letter and reads...
Peter's face falls -- the most painful rejection of all. He looks at MJ. She shakes her head. "No." MJ continued.
"No." Peter says, then he looks at Ned. "You?"
Ned starts reading his letter "In light of recent controversy, we are unable to consider your application at this time."
"This is so not fair. I mean, this is so not fair! I didn't do anything wrong. I mean, you guys definitely didn't do anything wrong." Peter looks at Nathaly who had her head down probably trying to hide her tears.
"Expect disappointment and you will never get disappointed." Nathaly said with a raspy voice.
Suddenly, Flash enters, sporting an MIT sweatshirt. He begins singing the BEASTIE BOYS' "NO SLEEP TILL BROOKLYN."
