Chapter ten: Did You Just Open A Portal?

"I will kill Peter." Nathaly said as she picked up one of her daggers from the table with her free arm and cut her hand free from the webs.

"Which Peter?" Ned asks the girl.

"THE ONE THAT WEBBED ME TO A TABLE!" Nathaly, angrily threw her dagger at the wall making MJ and Ned jump.

And Iron Suit busted through the windows making Ned and MJ duck behind a table. Nathaly walked into the suit as she flew away to the new Statue of Liberty.

"Peter, is so dead." Ned says, quietly.

MJ sighed, "Yeah, he is."

~ Meanwhile with the three attractive Spider-Men that the world blessed us with ~

"Can we wind it back to the "I'm lame" part? 'Cause you are not." Peter 2 told Peter 3.

"Aw, thanks. No, yeah, I appreciate it. I'm not saying, "I'm lame." I'm just saying, like--."

"But it's just self-talk, maybe we should, you know..."

"'Cause you're... you're amazing. Just to take it in for a minute."

"You... you are amazing." Peter 2 repeats.

"Yes, you're amazing, Bug Boy. But do you know who is not?" They all turn to a female iron suit floating. An furious Nathaly walked out of the suit and walked up to Peter 1.

Peter 1 eyes widened and started to walk back, "Nathaly?!"

"Peter Benjamin Parker!!" Peter tried to swing away and Nathaly pulled his hair, "Ow! Natalia!" But then his Spidey-senses went off along with the other Peter's.

The Peters stand their ground. A storm brews. Lightning flashes, "'Sup, Pete?" Electro bolts into view -- the ARC REACTOR mounted on his chest.
"How you like the new-new? Look, you give it to me, I'm gonna destroy it." Max laughs. "But I'll let you live. Don't make me a murderer, Peter."

"Nathaly! Go!" Nathaly ran back to her suit and floated away from the chaos. Peter pulls on his mask and swings off with The Box. He calls out to the other Spider-Men over their comms:
"Okay, guys. Here he comes."

ON THE SCAFFOLDING, Raimi-Verse Peter and Webb-Verse Peter pull on their masks and swing into action.
Webb-Verse Spider-Man launches at Electro with the cure.
"Hey, Max! I missed you, man-- Whoa!" Peter 3 webs out of the way, Max barely misses.

Nathaly flies to the magic portal, "Are you two okay?" Nathaly asks her best friends.

"Yeah, you?" MJ asks.

Nathaly nods as she gets out of the suit.
"All right, MJ! Heads up!" Peter says as reaches a portal by the crown, tosses The Box through.

MJ, Nat, and Ned, at the ready. MJ catches The Box. "Got it!"

Nathaly turns to Ned, "Close it." Ned starts moving his arm in circles, like before. But the portal didn't close.

"Uh... Ned, it's not closing." MJ says worriedly.

"Yeah, I know."

"Why isn't it closing?!" Nathaly looks at Ned.

"I don't know, I--."

"Did you close it before?" MJ said.

"No, I mean, I've opened some..." Nathaly looked at Ned. "Edward Leeds, if I die and you somehow survived I will haunt you."

Ned keeps trying over and over again.

Elsewhere...

Connors breaks free from the webs. He stops, hears Ned, Nat, and MJ in the lab, "Um, I don't really know how else to tell you that it's not closing."

"I'm trying to close it, MJ! Don't tell them that it's not working!"

Ned struggles to close the portal. Deep breaths.
"Okay, wait, wait. Yeah... wait. We'll just keep going."

"All right, no. It's fine... you're gonna do it again. We're just gonna keep trying." Nathaly says massaging Ned's shoulders.

"All right, all right, we got it, we got it... we got this!" MJ says in a calming voice. "Focus. Close the portal... close the portal..."

Peter spots Lizard CHARGING at the portal! "Oh no. No, no, no!"

Nat, Ned and MJ panic, "And that is a lizard!"

"No, no, it's a big lizard!" Ned and Nat said.

They take off running as Lizard LEAPS through the portal, CRASHING through the chairs and lab tables. Spider-Man swings into the portal, KICKS Lizard back, "Run!" Told his girlfriend and his best friends.

Ned, Nat, MJ run for their lives. They have no choice but to head through the open portal onto--
THE STATUE OF LIBERTY SCAFFOLDING!
Lizard nearly has them... but Spider-Man pulls him back--

Lizard SLAMS Spider-Man down, races after Ned and MJ.

On Ned, Nat, and MJ, running for their lives from Lizard. Ned desperately tries to open a portal to some place else. Any place else. Lizard jumps at them--Ned manages to OPEN A PORTAL! To the bottom of New York Bay! WATER floods through... knocking Lizard back.

Nathaly grabs the Lizard cure device... Lizard skids to a stop, water and broken scaffolding falling about him.

Spider-Man swings down to meet him, KICKS Lizard back, "Nat!"
Nathaly throws Spider-Man the Lizard cure...
RAWR! Lizard LEAPS forward... Spider-Man grabs the cure and SHOVES it into Lizard's gaping jaws.

The gas is released. Lizard staggers backward, beginning to transform. "Whoa!" Ned and MJ watch, amazed. Then MJ grabs The Box from Ned.

"We gotta hide this thing!" MJ told Ned.

"Oh, right... right, right--." Ned quickly opens a PORTAL... a warm desert breeze blows in, as out of the Mirror Dimension steps, Dr. Strange glaring at the trio. Not happy.

"Where is he?" Dr. Strange says, angrily.
Strange magics The Box out of MJ's hands. "MJ Wait, wait, wait--Before you do anything Mister-- Dr. Strange, sir, uh... Peter's plan is working!" Ned told Strange.

"What plan?" He asks him.

"He's curing them!" Nathaly says as Dr. Strange walks forward to see Lizard transforming back into Dr. Curt Connors, Spider-Man at his side.

"Doctor Connors?Welcome back, sir." Peter says.

Strange reacts, surprised. "Well, I'll be damned."
He turns to Ned. "Did you just open a portal?"

"Yes-- Yes, sir. I did."

"Hmm." Hums Dr. Strange quietly impressed.
He walks off. Ned looks to MJ and Nat in shock.
