Chapter eleven: I Am Now

Nathaly started to have a gut feeling after Strange left them. As her suit floated back to her, "BITCH?"

(Beautiful, Intelligent, Talented, Caring, Human. 😂)

"Yes, Ms. Rivera." A female robot British voice came from her suit.

"I just wanted to make sure you're still with me. I have a gut feeling something bad is going to happen." Nathaly told BITCH.

BOOM! The bomb detonates... the box explodes
Fragments of debris hurled in every direction... followed by the swirling, spinning magic of the broken spell, unleashed and unstable!

It ripples through the Captain America shield, which breaks off hurtling through level after level of scaffolding... a crumbling avalanche of twisted metal.

MJ falls backwards, tumbling off the collapsing scaffolding.

"SAVE MJ!" Nathaly told her suit and as she felt the suit float away to MJ and save her.

Ned grabbed Nathaly and grabbed her hand but he couldn't hold it, "Nat-I can't hold it any longer!"

Nathaly looks at the ground and then back at him, "Let me go."

Ned looks at the brunette surprised, "What?! No! Please no!"

Nathaly smiled softly with tears forming in her eyes, "It's okay."

Ned shook his head, "No!" Nathaly yanks her hand out of his and she couldn't help but to scream as she was falling.

Ned tries to catch her, but LOSES HIS OWN FOOTING! He barely manages to grab a bent pole, dangling in mid-air...

Peter, hearing Nathaly, dives after her reaching out. Nathaly looks at his brown doe eyes as she falls. Peter and Nathaly's hands nearly touching but then.

Wham! Green Goblin, who was on his glider SLAMS into him, carrying Peter in the opposite direction!

Nathaly's eyes go wide in horror as she plummets. Peter 3 quickly reacts, swings down towards her and catches Nathaly, just in time!
Nathaly gasps for air, adrenaline surging.

"Are you okay?" Peter 3 says resting his forehead on hers.

"Yeah. I'm okay." Nathaly whispered softly. Seeing tears in his eyes she asked, "Are you okay?"

Overwhelmed with emotion, Peter 3 nodded. Having just relived the worst moment of his life when he lost Natalia Rivera in THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2. But this time, he prevailed.

"I am now." He softly smiles at Nathaly. Nathaly softly smiled at him as placed a small peck on his lips.

(I hope you like this chapter! I know it was short but I couldn't wait any longer for this chapter and I added some Splatasha action in there. I kinda did a little reference to Iron Man 3 where he saves Pepper instead of himself.)
