Chapter 4- Wedding Planners Aren't Supposed To Be Sexy

Roxy wasn't allowed to leave until the morning so we all decided to crash at the hospital. Alex and I stayed in the room and slept on chairs and Jack laid down in the waiting room.

I woke up feeling cramped up and grouchy. I don't suggest hospital chairs to anyone looking for a place to rest their head.

When it was time to go, Alex was unusually chipper and Jack was still half asleep. Roxy, thankfully, felt great and was happy to have a full stomach after breakfast.

The bus pulled up and it was hard not to notice Zack and Rian hanging out the door.

"Roxy!"

They came fumbling out and both of them flung their arms around her and crushed her into a group bear hug.

"Guys! I'm okay!"

Alex went to hold my hand while we walked to the bus but I swatted him away.

"Val?"

"I'm grouchy."

Alex laughed in his smitten teenaged boy way and leaned over to kiss my head.

"Grouchy and adorable."

"Oh, fuck off."

Even though I secretly appreciated his attempt at making me smile, I needed coffee before I turned into a loving fiance.

I stomped up the bus steps, knowing that Alex was watching and still giggling at me.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I went back to bed immediately when I got on the bus but I felt myself being shaken awake in what seemed like 5 minutes.

"Valerie Miranda!"

My eyes opened slowly and tried to adjust to the light. Who was the person who decided to inflict such torture on me? I. NEED. SLEEP.

"We're stopping to get something to eat. Get your lazy ass up" Jack said, slapping the back of my thigh.

I mustered up enough energy to groan and shimmy out of the bunk. I probably needed to shower and change before going out in public but we were in the middle of who knows where and I just didn't care.

Alex smiled when he saw me shuffle out of the bunk area and I flipped him off. He's just too happy this morning and I'm too irritable.

We ended up being in Pennsylvania somewhere and stopped at a small diner. The crew sat together in a booth and Roxy sat with Rian and Zack at a table pushed up to mine with Jack and Alex.

"Stop being so grumpy Val, we're almost home" Alex said, his voice starting to show some strain. I sighed and leaned my head against his shoulder,  mumbling an apology and kissing his bare arm. I may be in a bad mood but I didn't want to put him in one.

"Awh, you guys are too sweet!" Jack teased. Roxy smiled sweetly while she buttered a piece of bread and it was hard not to smile at the two of them.

After eating a huge stack of waffles and downing a cup of coffee, I felt more like myself. We all loaded back up on the bus and I plaid a rousing game of Call of Duty with the boys.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"BALTIMORE!!!!!!"

We all jumped from the bus and raced towards mine and Alex's humble abode.

Alex quickly unlocked the door and we all fell through. Home had never seemed so beautiful. Sebastian and Peyton, mine and Alex's fur babies came rushing towards everyone. Cassadee had been watching them but she brought them back this morning to greet us. I wonder...

Cass, herself, came running to us too. Rian may have the world's best smile already but nothing made it light up like her. He toppled over Jack and threw his arms around his girlfriend.

"Hey babe!"

He plastered her face with kisses and swung her around, putting anybody else's relationship to shame.

I picked up Sebastian and he licked my cheek in a greeting. Normally I hated his slobbery kisses but it had been so long that I welcomed the love.

"Hi baby" I cooed.

Alex scratched Peyton behind the ears, falling on his butt and enveloping him in a hug. Everyone else was collapsing on the couch and in the floor.

Tonight, we'd order food, drink, and watch a welcome home movie. It would be late before anyone fell asleep but we'd all end up crashing here.

Life was good.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The next day after everyone had left, I went to pick up some sweets and coffee for me and Alex. We had our wedding planner coming over today and I was giddy to start getting everything ready.

When I got home, a car was already in the drive way. I didn't trust Alex to handle this alone so I quickly dashed inside.

I heard Alex and a woman speaking in the kitchen and walked that way. I almost dropped the stuff I was carrying when I reached the doorway.

A girl with long tan legs, sleek blonde hair, and dark red lips was sitting at my kitchen table, her cleavage pretty much pressed against Alex's arm.

Her skirt was riding up too far for my liking and her white button up shirt looked like it was going to pop open. Could slutty girls stop attaching themselves to my man when I wasn't home?!

Alex looked up and his face lit up. "Hey baby! This is our wedding planner, Angela Wayne."

Angela's eyes scanned me and she pursed her lips. I felt like a troll compared to her standing there in my leggings and long plaid shirt. But I mean, I didn't have to dress like a whore to get my boyfriend's attention. So why did I feel so insecure when she looked at me like she was thinking Alex could do better?

Wedding planners weren't supposed to be sexy. They were supposed to be elegant and proper and only care about making your day special. They shouldn't be leaning over your fiance with their boobs hanging out and eyeing you like they hope you cancel the wedding.

Alex noticed my silence and raised his eyebrow.

"Babe? You okay?"

I sat down the bag of sweets and coffee and turned to walk out. "I just need a minute."

But Alex was on my heels.

We reached the living room and he grabbed my wrist. He spun me around and stared down at my face. I was on the verge of tears and he had no idea why. The truth was, Angela reminded me of a bustier version of Lisa and suddenly I felt so small and insignificant. What if Alex found her attractive? I shook him off and ran upstairs.

This chapter is two days late and I am so so sorry. But anyway, what do you guys think of Angela?!

I'm also sorry this chapter is kind of everywhere and maybe even messy. They're home now so everything will flow better.

Next update; Thursday? We'll see.

Love you all. Xoxo
