ALEX'S POV

Jack and I swaggered into the diner that we agreed to meet Angela at. I wasn't sure what I was expecting since Val wasn't coming and it honestly made me feel a tad uncomfortable.

"So why doesn't Val like your wedding planner?" Jack asked as we stood at the counter of the diner.

"Uh... because she's like really sexy" I started.

Jack's eyebrows shoot up and he leaned back. "Really?"

I shrugged. "Val thinks so. I think she looks like this tramp that was with that scumbug Mark the night I beat him up. But there's something else weird about her."

"Scumbug Mark? Can we like, call him that now whenever he gets brought up? And what do you mean?"

"The first time I saw her, I was alone and she was dressed all provocatively and was, well flirting with me. Then when Val came in, she moved away from me and the next time we saw her together, she was a whole different person. She had on a pants suit and acted like Val and I were her favorite couple to ever walk the Earth."

Jack rubbed his chin and looked in the distance.

"That is strange."

I sighed and put my face in my hands. "I don't know, man. I kinda wish I could fire her but the wedding is close and she already knows the details. Not to mention, it would only stress out Val more."

"Are you not stressed at all?" Jack asked.

I dropped my hands and rested my arms on the counter. "Not like she is. I'm not really worried with all the details that she is."

"Is that not upsetting her? Doesn't she want your input? Surely you disagree with something she chose."

I thought about it for a minute. But there honestly wasn't anything. Or maybe I was just the cheeseball Val thought I was and I was too blinded by her happiness to argue with her decisions. But I didn't care. Her being happy was all that mattered.

"Honestly man, I love everything she chose. The only thing I'm worried about is my vows and not wanting to look like an idiot compared to her."

"Alex, you write songs for a living and you're nervous about vows?"

"Songs are things I write to express myself and connect to a million people. Vows are things I write to express myself and connect with ONE person. And that one person is currently freaking out over our wedding and I only care about getting married to her. The whole damn world could turn black and white that morning and I wouldn't care. Because even if everything went grey, I'd see her in color."

Jack stared at me with wide eyes and at first, I thought it was because I just sounded like a complete asshat. But then he smiled and patted my back.

"If that isn't in your vows, I will knee you in the balls before Val can say 'I do'."

We smiled at each other and half hugged in the way that makes our fans, and Val, think we're gay together.

"Well whose this handsome man you have with you, Alex?" A familiar, sultry voice asked. Jack and I turned towards the door and I almost coughed up a lung.

Angela was dressed even sluttier than she was when I first met her. She was wearing a tight black dress that was see through on her stomach and the neckline was almost cut low enough to see her nipples. The dress stopped mid thigh and rode up with every movement. Her hair was loose and wavy and she had on deep red lipstick. To top it off, the bitch was wearing heels that almost made her taller than Jack.
