-My first version would have a character who would also have the name Ebony, but in this story she is a pop singer, very famous and loved.

For a new show, Buster wants Johnny to try a different role, so the boy has to enact a love story, and the chosen partner is precisely Ebony, who soon catches his eye.

Although the two seem excited about the job Johnny is unable to concentrate because of his interest in Ebony. During the rehearsal of the song "Perfect" he would end up missing the cue because he was looking at her. Ebony says she is happy to be part of a theatrical production, as her job as a singer doesn't let her do the things she likes, she hasn't even seen her parents in years.

Johnny is very fond of Ebony so he tries to make the show work by putting his feelings aside. But as he wants a chance with Ebony, he asks Nooshy to help him. Unfortunately they have Ebony's agent, Poly, among them. Knowing that the two like each other, and not wanting it to get in the way of the schedule she has made for the girl for the next few years, Poly begins to confuse the two; she makes Ebony think that Johnny sent her flowers, but when Johnny arrives he thinks the flowers came from another guy and leaves. Meanwhile, Ebony hears Poly say that Buster decided to change the actress and they didn't need her anymore. Ebony ends up believing it, until Nooshy comes to her and explains all about how Johnny felt. Ebony tries to talk to Johnny but though he talks to her, his new stage partner interrupts and makes it look like they were together.

Ebony returns to her concert schedule, sad, and Johnny can't get through to her. Fortunately that doesn't last long. Ebony overhears how Poly treats her parents on a call, and angrily fires her and goes to the theater to talk to Johnny. She arrives midway through the performance, and asks Nooshy to switch places with her.

In the scene Johnny would be a young warrior who wants to prove his love to a lady, and he would be stopped by guards on the way. One of those guards was Nooshy, and Ebony went in her place, fighting Johnny as she tried to talk to him, but the boy was singing and couldn't hear. So Ebony knocks him out. Johnny is confused, the scene has suddenly changed, and is more surprised when the guard starts singing in the voice he recognizes. He could see that Nooshy was still in the same spot and saw his opponent take off his helmet to reveal Ebony. The public is surprised. In the middle of the stage she explains everything that happened and apologizes, she kisses the boy forgetting that they were being watched, and hiding her face in shame afterwards. The curtains close, Ebony's rival Stela, an artist who wants to have the same fame as Ebony, starts complaining about having her moment stolen. Ebony says that Stela can have the role, as Johnny is her only interest. Although she believes that no one would have the courage to call the crazy woman for another job since the microphone was on when she threw a tantrum. Nooshy opens the curtains for everyone to see that Stela is not the best person, and humiliated she runs away. Ebony thanks Nooshy.

Some time later Ebony goes to see her parents, although she is nervous, because Poly told them that she didn't want to see them. She is encouraged by Johnny and Nooshy and enters the family store. Her parents are surprised to see her and hug her practically forgetting about the rest of the work. And after that Ebony can finally live as she likes, sometimes being part of the theater cast and going back to singing the songs that match her style.
