I don't know why, I liked Robbie Kay's character so much in Once Upon a Time. Maybe it's because the actor is cute, even now when he's older, you wouldn't say he looks his age. (see this image as a before and after of the character.)

When Malcolm (Peter Pan) was still young he had a long-standing friendship with a village girl. Edissa, was his friend when he was young and the two had the same ideas. People even said they were the same person for their similar behavior. For all the times when Malcolm was unhappy, he ran to her, and the girl managed to make him feel better.

Unfortunately they were separated by her family. Over time they thought Malcolm was a bad influence on the girl, with her behavior she wouldn't have an easy life. Edissa talked about the possibility of living elsewhere, and Malcolm stated that if she ever left, he would wait for her if he didn't go looking for her.      Of course, that's not what happened.      Edissa couldn't find her friend, but she tried to send the message through someone else. From that day on, Malcolm had a different life.

Edissa didn't want to leave, so she went all the way, looking for the new house, huffing and puffing, while her mother complained about her unfeminine behavior. They never had a permanent home, even crossing the ocean to find a new home. Edissa couldn't forget Malcolm, she missed her friend. She made other friendships, but nothing was permanent as she kept moving with her family. Or she didn't care as much about them as she did about Malcolm. This continued until shortly after adulthood.

Years later, Malcolm was in a store looking at what to buy, and there he found Edissa again. She looked the same, he looked slightly different. The woman was happy to see her friend back. He was also happy to see her, he couldn't speak properly, while she hoped to at least hear what he'd been through the last few years. Edissa talks about how she missed him, and that she hoped to see him again when she got back. Malcolm is upset that she didn't tell him or say goodbye, which was a lie, and Edissa explains that she asked for a child to let him know about the move. Obviously the message never arrived.     Another surprise was Fiona. She approached Malcolm and called him affectionately, making Edissa realize that she had come back for nothing. Malcolm introduced his wife and the friend, Fiona seemed normal, but Edissa wasn't happy, though she smiled politely.        Edissa is unhappy, she says that Malcolm has grown up. Like something bad. The man tries to keep talking to his friend, but it seems that even the friendship she doesn't want to keep anymore. Edissa tells Malcolm to return to his wife and child, and leaves, intending not to return.

While Malcolm suffered everything we saw on the show, Edissa went on to live an even worse life. Depending on how you see it. For her, worse than stealing would be being in a brothel. She had met up with some of the people she met on the first trip, none of them had a normal life, so they started stealing. So Edissa became a part of it.      Not out of malice, but out of necessity.      Edisse stayed with that little group, her, Benny, Roy and whoever else would join them. This started a new phase in Edissa's life...   because one day Benny commented that she was fat from eating so much, which even she hadn't noticed, although she spent a lot of time eating sweets and cakes. And months later she found out why, when she gave birth to a boy.

There was still a big doubt, who was the father of that boy. Edissa had never been involved with anyone, she was sure.      She'd watched Felix grow up energetic and smart... and so close to Roy that he let him call his father. ... Much to the mother's dismay, she didn't know who the boy's father was, but she also hated that Roy put himself in that position. Whenever she could, she reminded her son that he shouldn't call a stranger his father, even if he allowed it. Felix unfortunately hated that, maybe that was what led him to follow Peter years later. The feeling of an incomplete family.       That was not a good day for Edissa, she was proud of her son and loved him so much.... To find out that he disappeared after going to play. She didn't hear him, he didn't come back, and she was desperately looking for him. She even found him, but saw who he was with, and couldn't react. Or she tried, but Felix didn't hear her. She sure as hell recognized him, and was sure to hate him (even more) forever.
