Page Twenty Two : Mature Content

𝓚𝓪𝓽𝓼𝓾𝓴𝓲...

Work...Endless Missions and I dare to mention my long hours of training with Rory...I've neglected my responsibility as a husband and as a mate...of course I'm always here mentally and physically but intimately speaking...I've been a bit lacking...while making dinner I was having a conversation with Rory about Izuku.

I noticed how he's been distant...I figured that It could possibly be because of the pregnancy...I mean sometimes he's laughing and smiling with Rory and I...but then other times he locks himself inside of our room for hours without reason...I don't make a fuss nor do I ask questions...I simply give him his space.

Tonight...though I made It a priority to cheer up my adorable mate...I purposely sent Rory to my parents place...Izuku's folks weren't available and I kinda feel like we've been depending on them way to much...over the years I mean...they would disagree of course...and I know Izu would probably make a fuss if I ever voiced this to him so I'll make sure to keep this thought to myself...for now.

I assume that they finally took my advice and went on a vacation...they deserve It after everything they've done to help those around them...like me and the rest of those who graduated from UA...the other Pro Heros...and a handful of citizens...they'll always have my gratitude for taking Izuku in all those years ago and giving him a loving home...and showing him that It was OK to be loved and to return It.

I went out this morning while Izuku was still sleep...I wouldn't dare disturb his Nesting Resting he would tear me a new one...I had some stuff to pick up from the office before going shopping...I wanted to surprise Izuku with some stuff for the baby and I told myself that I could take this time to make some changes to the house while I'm free.

When I got home It was lunch time and I walked in on Izuku and Horu chatting and laughing about whatever they were discussing before I walked in...I put the groceries down on the island and walked towards the living room "Oh hey Kacchan! I didn't see you when I woke up and I didn't see Ry...I guess he went to see Hito...I called Horu over to keep me company..." I smiled and kisses his adorable cheek...stepping over to give my Brother-N-Law a quick hug before sitting next to Izuku.

I explained that I sent my mini me away for a few days while I take care of things here...I'm not saying that he will be in my way because I don't mind him helping me out with home projects like the one I'm about to dabble in soon...but after that little incident with him walking in on us while we...well let's just say that he saw things that no child should see...and with what I have planned for Izuku and I? It's best not to have him in the house.

I busied myself with making lunch while preparing dinner...Izuku and Horu had long since moved from the living room to his nest upstairs...I was in the middle of turning on a sport channel on the TV when the door bell ring.

With the remote in hand I walked over to the front door and glanced through the peephole "Icyhot..." I whispered before I opened the door "Hello Bakugou...how are you?" He held out his hand for me to shake...I decided to be civil today and shook It before stepping back so he could enter my home.

When I walked into the living room he took a seat on the couch...I went to speak but before I could I heard a small sigh "Shoto...what are you doing here..." Icyhot turned around and stood up "I just got back from the states...I went home but no one was there...Ishana is with Yumi...and she said that you were here...so I figured I'd...can we just talk?...please" I stepped over to Izuku and kissed his temple before pulling him into the kitchen with me.
