Chapter Eight : Summer Haze...

𝓡𝓸𝓻𝔂...

The sun felt great on my skin as I relaxed on my beach towel...that was until Dad decided to grace me with his bulky body forcing the shade and blocking out the wonderful suns warmth...I opened my eyes and lifted my sunglasses before scowling at him "Sup Dad..." I said before sitting up and fixing my light blue crop top and swimming shorts.

He didn't speak at first...he just looks down at me until I heard Papa sigh from behind me "Kacchan leave him be...It's to nice out to be wearing what you expect him to wear and there's no one here but us anyway..." he scowled and sighed but kept his big mouth shut 'One point goes to Papa...' I giggled quietly before laying back down once he walked over to his and Papa's shared blanket.

Papa waddled over to Dad and held his hand out so he could help him sit down...he's been so exhausted lately and his movement's have gotten slower...I mean of course with him being pregnant and all but when I watch him and I look at how round and heavy his belly looks I can't help but worry.

He seems to be handling It though so I keep quiet "Can I invite Hito over? I'm bored just laying around catching sun..." I walked over and sat beside Papa before I began to instinctively rub his bulging belly "Go change your shirt and then come back and ask..." Papa sighed before telling me not to listen to the brute he calls his husband.

I kissed his cheek and kissed his belly earning a soft kick on the lips "I guess the baby agrees with me and Papa..." I smirked when Dad scuffed and Papa giggled as he swatting me away...I stood and skipped away giggling at how Dad hollered for me to pull my short shorts down or change into a more fitted pair.

I grabbed my phone off of the sofa before flopping down...I scrolled through my contacts before finding Hitomi's number and pressed call...the phone rung twice before he answered "Hey Ry...what's up..." I smiled and I could tell that I was blushing because my face felt like I was still laying outside under the warm sun.

I laid back on the sofa and crossed my legs "Hey...I just wanted to know if you wanted to come over and swimming for a bit..." I could hear him sigh before chuckling "Yea...my folks just got home...I'll ask them to drop me off..." I felt my arms and thighs go warm as he lowered his voice...almost as low as a whisper "o-ok...I'll let Dad know to make extras...and make sure to bring your trunks..." he laughed and said OK before we ended the call.

Twenty minutes after my phone call with Hito I found myself sulking on the sofa as Dad and Hito's Dad talked Hero crap in the kitchen over cold ones as Dad likes to call It...Hito chuckled softly while shaking his head "Calm down Ry...we'll have all summer to do what you want...plus I'm here now so there's no reason to pout..." I shoved his hand away from my arm as I drilled a hole into my fathers head with my eyes "Stupid Dad...making me wait until he's done talking...just to swim..." I mumbled before I felt a soft and gentle hand on my waist.

Papa smiled at me before nodding towards the patio door...my face lit up as Hito and I stood up "But what about..." He put his hand up and smiled "Go enjoy the water Ry...leave the brute to me...OK?" I nodded and smiled back before pulling Hito outside behind me.

Once we were outside I was finally able to pull the T-shirt that Dad made me wear off and jump into the water...Hito shook his head "I see you went all out huh..." I smirked and nodded before flipping onto my back...Hito removed his shirt and basketball shorts before walking onto the diving board...he looked down at me with a cocky grin before jumping in the pool.

We spent the whole afternoon swimming and having fun while The brute watched us like a hawk as he cooked food on the grill and drunk his disgusting beer...when Papa stepped out of the patio door Dad turned his head and smiled...I could practically see the hearts in his red eyes " Lookin' good there Papa..." I whistled at him as he slowly made his way into the water.

The omegan swimsuit he had on was a bit revealing...well It reveal his belly and his beautiful freckled legs so I guess that's fine " Thank you baby...I figured this would keep him distracted for awhile...is he still staring?" he asked while rubbing water on his chest and arms...I looked at Dad and saw that he neglected the task in front of him while he eye-humped Papa.

I smirked when he growled at the smell of the food burning " Yup...he's screwed..." Papa peaked behind him and giggled before sending a wink my way "...Not yet he isn't..." I laughed out loud before I felt a hand brush against my thigh from under the water...my eyes met Hito's and I couldn't hold back the blush that swayed It's way onto my face.

The sun had began to slowly set but the heat was still hitting us with full force...Dad and Papa had found their way inside long ago while Hito and I were sitting side by side in the pool water watching the stars " So UA...did you apply yet?" he asked before dragging his eyes over to mines "Yeah...Dad made sure that I did...I almost told him that I wanted to do something else...other then being a hero...but..." I half explained before dragging my eyes back towards the stars.

We sat and watched the stars until the water became chilled and our skin became pruned "Papa made the guest room up for you...and I'll come and wake you when breakfast is ready in the morning..." I explained as we made our way inside...I locked up and turned the TV and lights off before we headed upstairs.

We stopped at the guest room and just stood there...I could feel his eyes on me as I cast my eyes towards the floor...we haven't spoken much about the whole 'situation' that happened between him and I some time ago...we tend to tip-toe around It while we smile and joke with each other...but deep down we both know that we must talk about It.

When I finally look up our eyes met again but this time It felt like he was reading my mind " S-should we talk? A bit before bed?"..." he asks softly while opening the bedroom door...I nodded and stepped inside first with him close behind...he shut the door and went to turn the light on "No...wait...keep It off..." I didn't want him to see my face...see how nervous I was.

He nodded and smiled before guiding me towards the bed " I-I'm sorry...I just..." He hummed quietly before taking my hand and intertwining our fingers...I tried really hard to keep my body from shaking but failed miserably.

I pushed my damp hair out of my face with my free hand while licking my chapped lips before I opened my mouth to speak "I never meant for you to blame yourself Hito...It wasn't your fault and I explained to Dad that It was mines...I took full responsibility for It..." he didn't speak for a beat.

When he did thought...his voice was as soft as butter "Part of It was my fault though Ry...I would be lying if I said that I wasn't tempted to go further...but because I care about you so much...I stopped myself...I know we aren't ready for that yet and by telling myself over and over that gave me strength to stop..." he turned to me and planted a gentle kiss onto my cheeks before dragging me along with him as he laid down on top of the comforter of course.
