Chapter 27: whats happening to my life!

I was woken by someone jumping on me

"GHK!"

"Cousin y/n! Get up! We have a surprise for you in the kitchen!"

I grabbed my stomach and groaned

"Okay... I'll be there in a minute..."

Charlotte jumped off and ran to the kitchen

I got up and went down stairs

"Good morning darling!"

I heard my aunt say, I wanted to cringe because of the nickname but I was to tired to make an expression

"Good morning."

"We made you some breakfast! Come sit!"

I looked to see some kind of Pastry filled with chocolate. Next to it was a cup of coffee which I took sip of. It kinda woke me up a bit more. Then I decided to take a bite of the strange pastry it was quite good.

"Do you like it?"

My cousin asked

"Yeah i do. What is it though?"

"It's called Pain au Chocolat. It's a typical French breakfast pastry served in the morning."

Uncle clement explained

"Oh is it? That's interesting. I've always been curious on different foods. So thank you." 

"We'll we did the best that we could here. The ones in France are far more better than these ones."

Your aunt commented

"Are they now? I'll be sure to try some there if I ever visit."

"I have a funny feeling that you'll be visiting very soon."

She said giving me a wink. I showed confusion but I knew what she meant when she said that.

'Sorry aunt Vivienne I'm very happy with my living situation so good luck trying to get me to leave.'

I then looked at the time

"We'll thank you for the delicious breakfast. But I must get ready for work."

I went upstairs and quickly got ready after all today is a very big day. Last day on Bonnie's repairs. I can't wait to see the look on the gangs faces.

As I made it downstairs ready to go I wondered where my uncle was?

"Have you all seen my uncle?"

"Oh I think he took the car to get fixed. Apparently the engine wasn't working."

Your aunt told you

"Looks like you can't go to work. I think it would be best to call off."

Then an idea came to mind

"It's okay I'll just call ace."

I called him and he answered

"Hey y/n."

"Hey ace. So listen, my uncles car is in the shop, you think your brother can drive us to work?"

"Let me ask him."

Then I heard Ace yell for his brother asking if he can take us to work. I heard a loud yeah over the phone.

"Yeah he can take us."

"Okay thanks."

"Bye."

"Bye, I'll be in front of the shop."
