A New Beginning

"Abbacchio?", I asked, "hm?", He replied as we went along the sidewalk, "I'm looking for a kid, my brother, remember?", He nodded, "well, I think I get the idea that he's not in Venice right now, I haven't told you his name, it's Giorno, though I don't know about his last name, he's a little kid with black hair and green eyes, you will tell me if you find him?", I asked.

"yeah, of course.", He responded.

He seemed down today, "something wrong?", I asked.

"huh? Oh, it's nothing, don't worry about me.", He responded.

"it's fine, you're my friend, so I'd like to know.", I insisted.

He looked away a little as we kept walking, "well, it's kind of two things.. there have been rumours of a Vampyre or something that's been killing people, it's heard to be local thugs and whatever, but.. killing isn't right either way.", He stated, I felt a sense of guilt, "and well, things with Y/N and I haven't been all too well either, I think she thinks you're getting in-between us.. but I don't believe that, so we've been fight, she also works at a hospital and I working and trying to get through training has been stressful, so I guess neither of us are our best selves.. a third is you're no where near finding your brother and I'm no help to that.", He responded, all three of these problems had one common denominator, me, I was the cactus needle, I'm only hurting Leone, like I do many people.

I let out a sigh now feeling awful.

I smiled slightly and said after I noticed Petshop on his shoulder, "How funny... he usually only gets on my shoulder... I guess he trusts you enough".

"I guess that's good.", Leone stated.

Soon we got back to leone’s place.

Petshop flew out the open window as we both stepped through the door, Leone watched him fly away before Leone returned to putting stuff away and then pulling out a book, after a few minutes Petshop flew back in, handing me a chunk of bread, making a loud noise then flying out the window again, he's asking me to follow.

?- “hey leone ima go see what petshop wants” I said as I went out and followed petshop.

"bye!", He spoke as I left through the door.

I got out of the building and to the street where I followed Petshop.

Petshop was going fast, I followed him through the streets and alley ways, it was sunny out today, until he stopped at a park, two school buses had parked around the small block of grass and play structures, small children ran around yelling and laughing, Petshop flew to a specific corner of the park, a shaded corner was a small human sat behind a bench, Petshop landed infront of them and they opened their school bag, handing Petshop another chunk of bread.

I looked at the child and realized…it was giorno, “Giorno?” I’d call out softly.

He looked up from behind the bench, "..Y/N..?", He asked quietly.

I would quickly walk over to him and smiled softly, “oh look how you have grown” I’d smile happy to see him, he's 7 now.

He smiled up at me excitedly, "are you here to take me back? You've defeated the monsters! Father told me that when it was safe I'd come home! I'm happy to see you!", He went on excitedly.

My smile dissapered and hugged him, “f-father is gone…i-it turned out the Monsters w-werent monsters” I said.

“Its just me and you now…as much as I want to take you away with me Im already on edge with the law for something I did last night” i added.

"..what did you do last night?", He asked a little worried, "you don't do bad things. We don't hurt people who are good to us, you told me that.", He responded, "where is father, I can still see him?", He asked.

“Yes…I killed bad people that tried to kill a friend of mine” I said, “Father has crossed the rainbow bridge like my mom.."…I thought if its possible to open a portal to the afterlife but that is too dangerous.

".. I don't think I believe in the rainbow bridge. I'll have to go home then, with the other boys and girls, I'll have to stay silent forever? I'll see you again..?", He asked.

"..the monsters you said, they are not bad, did they kill father?".

I replied, “yes…you will see me again I will write letters to you as much as I can and how about I walk with you home…” then I said, “Yes…cause they said because of father a stand was awakened for the nicest women which was joeseph joestar’s daughter…she couldn’t control the stand and if…they didnt kill father…she would’ve died..”.

I said, “how about I walk home with you… is that ok..?”.

He shook his head, "I don't live here!", He stated, "I'm on a field trip, but I can't leave yet, Mrs. Mela said we're here to have lunch..".

I spoke, “ah that make more sense, so which part of Italy are you in exactly.".

I would rub the cherries on the right earring…I missed kakyoin and jotaro.

"here, look.", He pulled off his small yellow jacket and held the tag at the top, “property of Giorno Giovanna, please call or return to-(insert address)”.

"I live in Naples, by the sea, like here.".

“Alright i will keep that in mind” I’d smile.

"Giorno!", A woman called, making him jump a little, "who are you talking to over there?", They called.

"um, no one!", He stated pushing his jacket back on.

"s-she had a pet bird!", He stated as he ran over to a lovely young woman with dark hair and dark skin.

"you tell her "thank you", okay?", They told him.

I looked up at the women she must be his teacher and pet shop would climb up to my shoulder, I gave a friendly smile.

He turned around and gave me one more hug before running towards the woman.

The children climbed into the buses.

I waved goodbye as I started to walk back to abbacchio’s when I noticed I was being followed by a man wearing brown.

I stayed calm as I turned to face the man, "you need something?", I asked.

The man acted as if I wasn't talking to him, after a moment of looking at him looked behind him then back at me, "you're talking to me?", He asked, he'd playing stupid.

“Yes…I noticed you have been following me for a bit..” I replied.

"it's a crowded city, Miss. Best to mind your own business, judging by your accent you're not from around here.", He stated, he had now stopped walking, he stood in a way that implied we was ready to take a hard blow, he'd assume I'm a threat.

"Yes you are correct I am not from here.. I am just here to visit my little brother Giorno Giovanna, our father recently died.... but judging how my hawk is acting you have already met my brother" I said.

"judging by your hair I'd assume he's not your little brother, judging by you entirely I'd assume you don't really know him, I'll believe you about his father, but from now on, stay away from him, I don't give a shit where you're from or who you are, you're obviously too cruel for him.", The man stated, he spoke sharply and sternly, an attitude that scared me slightly, he spoke the voice of a leader, "he's under my protection.".

Id say, “the only thing showing he is my brother is our matching birthmarks… a star on the back of the shoulder. Me and my brother Giorno come from different mothers but the same father and let me guess, you're associated with the mafia to? And one last thing..Keep him protected from any danger for me will ya?".

"not gonna tell you again, kid, fuck off.", He commanded sternly.

My stand opened a portal to near Leone's place and I walked through and the portal closed behind me.
