I am Díolún Críostóir Dómhnall Séamus Stiúbhart Ruairc Mac Bréifneach (or just Prince Díolún) son of Críostóir Dáibhid Mac Bréifneach son of Dáibhid Uilliam Mac Bréifneach son of Fionnladh Aralt Mac Bréifneach son of Seosamh Biniáimin Mac Bréifneach son of Seosamh Mac Bréifneach son of Íosác son of Biniáimin son of Tómás son of Seosamh son of Iósua son of Tadhg son of Seán son of Riocárd son of Hugh son of John son of Thomas son of Thomas son of Samuell son of Thomas son of Sir John, Lord of the Manor, son of Sir Adam, Lord of the Manor (floruit 1493, born circa 1431). Adam's supposed paternal grandparents were named Marie-Magdalena [unknown maiden name] and Constantine.
Sir John, Lord of the Manor, was the son of Evelina de Massey daughter of John de Massey and Joan de Wales.
Thomas was the son of Sir John and Lady Angharad Reece daughter of David ap Rhys son of Rhys Fychan son of Llywellyn ap Hywel son of Hywel ap Meurig son of Meurig ap Meurig son of Meurig ap Rhys son of Rhys ap Maelgwn, Lord of Is-Aeron, son of Maelgwn Fychan son of Maelgwn ap Rhys, King of Deheubarth (1170-1230).
Rhys ap Maelgwn, Lord of Is-Aeron, was the son of Princess Angharad of Gwynedd daughter of Llywelyn II, also known as Llywelyn Fawr, King and Prince of Wales. Princess Angharad was also the daughter of Princess Joan of England, daughter of King John of England and Queen Isabella, daughter of Count Aymer of Angoulême.
Meurig ap Rhys was also the son of Isabel Marshal daughter of Gilbert Marshal, 4th Earl of Pembroke, son of William Marshal, 3rd Earl of Pemborke, and Lady Isabel de Clare daughter of Richard "Strongbow" de Clare, 2nd Earl of Pembroke, and Princess Aoife of Leinster daughter of Diarmait Mac Murchadha (also known as Dermot MacMurrough), King of Leinster (died 1171).
Samuell was the son of Alice, who apparently was Alys verch Llywelyn. Her father, Llywelyn ap Robert, supposedly descended in the male-line from an illegitimate son of Owain Glyndŵr, Prince of Wales, and the lineage is as follows: Llywelyn ap Robert was the son of Robert ap Gruffudd son of Gruffudd ap Maredudd son of Maredudd ap Ieuan son of Ieuan ab Owain son of Owain Glyndŵr, Prince of Wales (1349-1415).
Samuell's son Thomas was also the son of Harriet daughter of Oswald son of Godwin son of Wulf. Harriet's mother was Joan de Burgh, but her actual connection to the de Burgh family, if any, is unclear.
Thomas's son, also Thomas, was also the son of Alice who was supposedly the daughter of Joan Gayer and her husband Gilbert Flamank, who was the nephew of Thomas Flamank, the leader of the Cornish Rebellion of 1497 and supposed heir to the Cornish throne. Gilbert was the son of Thomas Flamank's brother, John Flamank, and his wife Joyce Nanfan.
Thomas II's son, John, was also the son of a woman named Anne. Anne has no other known relatives, or at least, they are not known to me at this time.
John's mother was Mary Williams, who was supposedly a member of the Williams family of Aberpergwm as the daughter of William ap Jenkin son of Jenkin ap William son of William ap Jenkin son of Jenkin ap Hopkin son of Hopkin ap William son of William ap Hopkin son of Hopkin ap Gwilym son of Gwilym ab Ieuan son of Ieuan (John) ap Jenkin son of Jenkin ab Ieuan son of Ieuan ap Rhys son of Rhys ap Morgan Fychan son of Morgan Fychan, 6th Lord of Afan, son of Morgan Gam, 4th Lord of Afan, son of Morgan ap Caradog, 2nd Lord of Afan, son of Caradog ab Iestyn, 1st Lord of Afan, son of Iestyn ap Gwrgant, last King of Morgannwg.
John's son was Hugh. Hugh is the one who married an Irish princess and brought that claim into our house.
