Chapter 54

"I fucking hate this," Donald sat on a beach mat underneath an umbrella.

"I know you don't consider the others to be your brothers like Dawn does," Kingsley said. "But Dawn wanted them to come on this beach trip,"

"I can't believe Cheongang is also here though," Donald mumbled.

"Well, I expected Gijoo to be there since he's one of Dawn's brothers," Kingsley shrugged. "I know Doyoon is his boyfriend so he was most likely to come too. I think Changhui only came here because of Janghyeok and Joowon came here because of Changhui,"

"I saw Phillip Kim and his goons in the hotel lobby," Donald added. "He was bothering Dawn so I threatened to break all of his bones,"

"You're really stressed," Kingsley noted. "How about I give you a backrub while I help you apply some sunscreen?"

Donald smiled. "That'd be nice,"

"I wanna gonna go swim with Killian," Jawbreaker held up the mini pool ring Donald had brought along.

Donald quickly inflated it and handed it to his bunny. "Don't go too far from the shore,"

"Okay Dad," Jawbreaker took the pool ring and hopped over to Killian who also had a pool ring.

"Seongmok, Dongha, watch the rabbits," Donald ordered.

"Roger that," Dongha nodded.

"Where is Dawn anyway?" Kingsley looked around but saw no sign of his sister-in-law.

"She's changing into her bathing suit," Donald informed. "No one better be trying to hit on my little sister. She only wants to date Forrest,"

"Changhui!? Joowon!?" Changyeon stared at the five men who were lying down on a row of beach chairs. "Gijoo and Doyoon too!? And even Janghyeok!? What's Cheongang doing here!?"

"You don't own the beach," Janghyeok pointed out coldly. 'I heard from Orion that it was Manwol that kidnapped Dawn and hurt her,'

"Janghyeok's family is having a beach trip weekend," Joowon informed. He used to respect Changyeon Lee because Changyeon was a man who once walked the same road as him until Joowon saw how he couldn't even take care of one bad apple.

"It's my family too!" Gijoo added.

"You're not even officially adopted," Doyoon rolled his eyes.

"Actually, I'm sure Orion filed paperwork to legally adopt Gijoo and Wolf," Janghyeok chimed in.

Changyeon paled. "Did you say Orion...as is Orion Na?" A memory from last year flashed in his mind.

"Who the fuck are you!?" Changyeon had no idea who this guy was. He had already suffered serious injuries from the fight against the Yeongdeungpo Union, and now he had to go up against this monster?

"Me?" The man slammed his foot down on Changyeon's leg, earning a loud scream of pain. "I'm Orion Na and you dared to hurt my daughter,"

"Orion is pretty much an older brother to me," Janghyeok glared at him. "That girl you kidnapped was my goddaughter. Since I don't want to ruin my family's vacation, I'll give you a chance to just leave without causing a scene,"

All Manwol members quickly scurried away in fear.

"Aww, I wanted to beat them up," Gijoo pouted.

"Not in broad daylight," Janghyeok advised.

"You're more likely to get arrested if you make a scene during the day," Changhui added. "That could end up with us getting kicked out of our hotel too. If you want to fight them so badly, hunt them down at night,"

The Eungang had buried Gerard in the sand and shaped the sand around him to resemble a merman body. It was supposed to be a merman but Ben, Alex, and Rowan jokingly added some shells to form a bra, much to Gerard's annoyance.

Gray and Eugene were quietly building a sandcastle together while Teddy was making a bunch of mini sand sculptures of several cats. Gray glanced over at his friends with a small smile, although there was sadness to his expression.

'We had planned to go to the beach together during the summer,' Gray recalled sadly. 'Stephen, if you were here then everything would be perfect. But you're not here. You're still in a coma. I hope you wake up soon,'

A couple feet away, Jake, Dean, Eunchan, Timmy, and Kenny were playing beach volleyball. It was the Ji Bros VS Dean, Eunchan, and Timmy. Despite the advantage the trio had with one more member than the two brothers, they were losing badly. Both brothers were extremely fit and Kenny had experience with sports.

Dongha and Seongmok were supervising their bunnies who were swimming in the tide pools. Dongha was searching for two large crabs so he could give each of them a knife and have them fight. The loser would be his lunch.

Orion and Sophia were fishing together and had dragged Wolf to join them so he could learn patience and tolerance. Orion hoped that this would stop Wolf from beating up anyone who looked at him for more than three seconds, but he knew it'd probably be unlikely.

Dawn, Forrest, Robin, and Grape were swimming a couple feet out into the sea. Grape was actually struggling really badly to stay afloat so they forced him to use a floatie. 

Everything was peaceful. If it weren't for the fact that a majority of the group were well-known violent fighters, anyone would assume that it was just a normal family having a normal vacation.

"You know, it's an older sibling's job to annoy their younger sibling," Orion grabbed Janghyeok and grinded his knuckles against the latter's head. "Noogie!"

"Stop it you asshole!" Janghyeok tried to get out of Orion's hold. "I'm not even your brother!"

"Yeah, but we grew up together so we're brothers in all but blood!" Orion grinned.

Gijoo slowly turned his head towards Wolf.

"Don't you fucking dare!" Wolf began to back away.

"NOOGIE!" Gijoo grabbed Wolf and mimicked their dad's action.

"FUCK YOU!" Wolf punched Gijoo in the face.

"Oi, oi, no fighting," Orion lightly scolded them.

"Hey little brother," Sophia smiled innocently as she walked over to him.

Janghyeok smirked. "It's an older sibling's job to annoy their younger sibling,"

"Noogie!" Sophia grabbed her little brother before he could run away.

Dawn also wanted to join in and gave Donald a noogie. "You know," Donald said as he fixed his now messy hair. "I'm the older sibling so I should be the one doing it to you, not the other way around,"

"Hey Janghyeok," Changhui spoke up. "How did you meet Orion?"

No one would dare to give Dawn a noogie because then Donald would break their arm.
