Xavier's Father loomed over us. Gun in his hands with his finger on the trigger. 'You girls are pathetic you realize? One minute you are bitches the next you are like best friends.' His icy glare made me freeze. My eyes lingered to the blood on his suite. 'W...Whose blood is that?' His gaze dropped down to the ends of his blazer. 'Oh you mean this? That's Xavier's blood.' I looked at Mackenzie whose knuckles were white. Her eyes told me she was going to do something she was going to regret. My hand gently touched her arm as her eyes softened. I rose to my feet, Mackenzie doing the same. 'What do you want?' His mouth curled up at the edges as he spoke. 'Oh, I only wanted you dead. But as Xavier didn't do what he was supposed to do, I am going to have to finish the job. Mackenzie, stand by me or you will go down with her.' Mackenzie looked torn between us. She was like a dog wanting both bones but could only have one. Her stance firmed as she replied 'I will never stand by you, or your son.' He shook his head with disappointment. 'Very well, have it your way.' I gave Mackenzie one final nod before yelling at him 'stance 12!' he was caught off guard as Mackenzie and I completed a series of movements before taking him down. Francess taught us both stances before judgment day. These stances involved a series of attacking movements to take down an opponent while using each other to our advantage. 'Do you want to do the honours Anne?' I nodded bringing my heel down making impact with his head as he crashed to the ground. We backed away looking at the damage we had done, but only Xavier's father was lying on the concrete. 'Anne, I didn't kill Eric, Xavier did. He must have put a controller on the gun while I wasn't looking. I'm so sorry for everything.' I gave her a reassuring smile. 'By any chance do you have hand cuffs?' She gave me a wicked grin as she handed a pair of gleaming hand cuffs over. Together we dragged Xavier's dad over to the lamp post and tied him up. I searched his blazer for ID. As I pulled out an ID card, I found pictures of him and someone else. His name was Jack O'Brien Shaw. When I pulled my hand out of his pocket, my fingers brushed against something sharp and metal. An FBI badge came out of his pocket. I flipped it over as saw a picture of Eric. 'Anne come on! The ceremony is still going.' I slid the badge and ID into my dress pocket and ran to follow Mackenzie into the training room. 'Last but not least, we would like to call forward out final graduate, Xavier Shaw.' Cheers arose from the crowd as Xavier brushed past us 'Ladies.' He strode confidently towards the platform where one of the other leaders was continuing the ceremony. He took his certificate and walked back out the training room, his shoulder shoving me as he went past. Mackenzie dragged me out after him, following him as he walked the streets alone and entered an empty warehouse. Lights flickered on throughout the building as we edged closer and peered through a cracked window. Eric's body lay on the dirt floor with a woman standing over him. Tears flooded down my face as she turned. My hand flew to my chest. My heart burned as she spoke. 'I wanted her dead not him! How hard is it to kill my...' Her head flung around as I accidentally stepped on a stick making an obvious that someone was there. 'Well, well, well. Looks like you won't have to find her Shaw. She has come to us.'
