-Third Person POV- (Six Years Later)

"Papa, why do I have to have a girls name?"

"Why? You don't like it?"

"No. It's girly and some boys at school made fun of me."

Kagami looks at his son then sighs. "I'm sorry. You have to argue with Grandpa about that when he comes over later, okay?"

"Why?" The boy whines.

"Because, baby boy. He's the one who named you. It's only fair that he is the one you talk to about it. And if you keep getting bullied, stand up for yourself. I was just like you, then I got this and I fought off my bullies." He traces his fingers over the long scar on his face. That was only half true. His bullies graduated and left him alone after that for fear of jail. He was still taunted, but he didn't back down from bullies after that.

The boy lifted his hand to his fathers face and traced along the jagged scar like his father did not even a moment ago. He smiles at Shase and giggles. "Papa, this makes you look super scary and awesome. You shouldn't look so sad when you touch it. It feels cool."

Shase laughs as he lifts the boy into his arms. "Says the one that doesn't like his name. Here, I'll tell you what. If you don't like your name still when you get into high school, we'll talk to Grandpa and see if he'll change it. Sound good?"

The boy nods excitedly. "Okay!"

"Okay. Then that means no more complaining about it. If you want, Daddy can teach you how to fight against bullies?"

"Yeah, yeah! Can Aki help too?"

Shase chuckles. "Sure. When Daddy and Aki get back, we'll all help, okay?"

"Yay!"

Aki is the boys sister, Akira. The boys name is Yuki. They were both named by their Grandfather who is half Japanese. He insisted on naming the twins and decided on names that fit to their two cultures.

"We're home!" A deep voice yells from the front door.

"Yuki! Yuki! Look what Daddy got for us!" Akira yells as she runs into the living room where Yuki is sitting on Kagami's lap.

Akira's words were barely coherent as she ran in, yelling with a mouthful of metal and rubber along with her lisp. She has braces because her teeth aren't growing in straight.

Yuki only looked at her as if she were crazy.

"Aki, sweety, you need to speak slower."

She takes a deep breath then repeats what she said. Yuki smiles and runs out of the living room to their playroom with Akira following right behind him.

Kagami let's out a squeak when he is lifted and sat back down on a soft lap.

"I missed you."

Kagami laughs and playfully slaps his husbands chest. When he calms down, he leans closer to his husbands face and caresses his stubbled cheek. "You should go shave."

"I don't know. I was thinking about doing the whole Gabe Kubanda look. What do you think?"

"I think Gabe looks like a well-dressed hobo and you should shave before I never kiss you again. Stubble feels weird. Please go shave."

"Gah! You're so mean!"

They both laugh as Shase runs his hands through his husbands hair lovingly.

So soft, he thought. He presses their lips together then pulls back with a looks of distaste. "It feels like a prickly pear cactus just attacked my face."

"Gami," he whines. "Again with the insults. Maybe I shouldn't leave Yuki with you anymore. You're a bad influence. He's gonna grow up to be mean like you!" He pouts.

"Yeah, yeah. Just go shave, you cactus. I have to finish a few more pages then we can go to the party."

"Freddy'll be there right?"

Kagami nods.

"Then I'll have to be extra clingy."

"Like he would try anything! He's married to one of my closest friends! You need to calm down your possessiveness. As soon as someone grabs my junk, you can attack. Other than that, no, no." Kagami wags his finger like he's telling a child not to do that again. He gets up from his lap and leaves to finish his work.

Kagami has a perfect life now. He has his two children that he cherishes more than anything on the planet and he has the man he loves right beside him, caring for the children as if they were his own.
