When Shalnark removed his lips from mine, I could see behind him Phinks who was wide-eyed. What he had just witnessed was probably twisting his brain. For my part, I was too shocked to do anything. I hadn't even been able to avoid his unexpected kiss. So many questions ran through my mind but I didn't have time to answer them. The storm was already here.
"What the hell are you doing ?! The Egyptian exclaimed beside himself."
I had just glared at Shalnark : "You got me in the shit so you'll get out of it on your own. If it's not him who kills you, it will be me." He answered me with an awkward smile, his cheeks slightly pink. I was clearly determined to not lift a finger to help his argue with a Phinks who was ruled only by his emotions.
"Which one do I take to smack the other one ?! He continued, cracking his fists."
Okay, he's mad. It's normal. But basically I am mad too. The roles shouldn't be reversed. He was the first to betray me by hiding the truth from me. Me, I have nothing to reproach myself for. And I'm not going to feel guilty for Shalnark's illogical actions. He has just confessed to me that he is in love with Phinks and behind him he steals a kiss from me. What's his problem ?!
"Phinks, we were waiting for you ! He got up smiling as usual.
