"For goodness sake where is it" George huffed pushing things around and off his bookcase

He was currently having the worse day imaginable for himself, the head knight was expecting him to present the book which contained all the responsibilities he was supposed to learn for when he takes over his father when he eventually passes. He needed to learn these because of a test he had to take later in the afternoon. He couldn't find the book and he was panicking

"Oh, not today. Please!" He threw another book to the floor. He turned around to face his bed "You have got to be kidding me" he strode towards his bed and snatched the book he was looking for off the covers.

He fixed his appearance which was as smart as he was going to get. His clothing was a white collar shirt paired with smart, black trousers, over the top of the shirt was a navy jacket, on his feet were newly shined black leather shoes and top finish the look a gold crown with a multiple diamonds around the circumference of it sat on top of his soft brown hair.

"It'll do I guess" he sighed leaving his room changing his once slouched posture to a now proper and straight one as he briskly walked towards the throne room where he'd find his father and the head guard waiting for his arrival

As soon as George walked in the room he could already feel stern eyes watching his every movement. Finally making it to where he was told to stand days prior to now he turned to where his father was sat in his throne with one leg over the other. George couldn't see his father's eyes due to the dark sunglasses which sat in front of them but he could feel the intense stare go into his soul. His father's crown had rainbow jewels that glistened in the sun which peeked through the large uncovered windows.

George bowed "Father." He simply stated standing straight again "I'm here to take my test" he said with a straight face

His father looked towards the head knight and gestured his head in the prince's direction. The brown haired man got this message and walked towards him towering over him in the process. It was times like theses were George thought he was being silently ridiculed, purposely emphasising that he was still average height at eighteen years old while they both stood at over six-foot. George thought they were both obnoxious leaders, they were good he wouldn't deny that, but they were obnoxious about it. The feeling made George get butterflies, not the pleasant ones either.

"Prince George" the man said passing George his paper test "You have an hour, you can sit at the table in that room over there" he gestured to a door which led into a small room with enough room to only fit a wooden desk, a wood chair and a lamp.

George handed the book in his hands to the man in front of him "Thank you Wilbur" he said with no emotion.

He then made his way towards the room. The two pairs of eyes fixated on him, he didn't dare look back in fear he would only see grimaced and sympathetic looks. Looks that knew he wouldn't pass the test, he would fail and disappoint his father again. It was his fault really, he opened the book once...and that was to see how many pages there were.

The door was now closed and he let out an exaggerated breath as he sat down on the chair. He opened the first page

"Lord have mercy." He whispered putting his head on the desk

Luckily for George he remembered some of the questions from the last time he took the test and he was prepared for the big important questions, the ones which asked him why he would be a good king, or what he would do if war was to hit the kingdom suddenly and he had to make the big decisions, those types. The other questions, well a child could answer those but it was the big questions that mattered. The smaller ones were to throw him off.
