The Day

One year later

Since George officially left his home he has felt a lot happier. He hasn't had to worry about being caught by his father or other pirates - his boyfriend made sure to stick by his hip twenty-four-seven so that doesn't happen

"So, what do you think?" Karl asks

"What do I think about what?" George was brought back to earth

"What colour my hat should be" Karl huffed looking between the hats at the stall

The crew had stopped at a random island for supplies and a time to properly stretch their legs. This was also a time Dream had left George for the first time in a year - he was elsewhere on the island with Sapnap

"Hmm, probably this purple one...it will match your coat" George pointed out

"Yeah. I would get it...but it's too close to captain's" Karl sighed moving on to another set of hats

"I don't know why it's such a big deal...it's a hat. Get a necklace or something" George shrugged

Karl turned to George and slapped his back twice "This is why we shop together. Follow me to the jewellery stall!"

They arrived at the stall and conveniently ran into their two friends

"Sap! What are you doing here" Karl exclaimed running to them

The two men seemed to shuffle and juggle something between them before turning to the other two

"Hello" Dream stood stiff

"Yes. Hello" Sapnap spoke robotically

"Ooo, a ring? Are you buying it for your collection? George peeked at the ring between Sapnap's fingers

Sapnap nodded quickly and held it up for George to see "Yep, you can never have too many rings"

"Can I hold?" George asks

"Of corse" Sapnap smiled passing the ring over

George gently held the ring in one hand and dragged a finger to trace the pattern of the ring landing upon the diamond in the middle

"Sap" George gasped out "this looks like a real diamond...do you know how expensive these are?"

Sapnap nodded "Yeah I know, it's worth it though"

"Fair enough" George slipped the ring onto each of his fingers, when he was done he handed it back to Sapnap "It's gorgeous. You should get it"

"Well I already have" Sapnap chuckled "Dream, I think we have somewhere else to be, yeah?" He began walking away

"Oh yeah of corse! Sorry we can't stay" Dream jogged to follow Sapnap before quickly turning around and running back to George "I'm sorry love, can't believe I almost forgot" he placed a gentle kiss on George's lips

When they pulled away George chuckled "Yeah I cant believe it either" he leant in for one more

"Bye, see you soon. Don't go to far" Dream trailed his hand down George's arm and made contact with his hand, he brought it to his lips and placed two kisses, one on his fingers and one on the back of his palm

"Bye" George turned his head as his cheeks turned red "Sapnap looks annoyed you should leave"

Dream turned around and smiled at Sapnap's grumpy face, he looked back to George "I love you"

"I love you too...idiot" George added. Dream chuckled in response and jogged back to Sapnap

"Awww, I can't deal with you two, you're both too cute!" Karl clapped his hands
