As Yoongi lost consciousness, Namjoon only seemed to cry more; screaming for someone, anyone to come.

"Sir!" Someone yelled.

Namjoon looked up, eyes meeting those of an officer—his flashlight beaming over Namjoon's face.

"Are you both okay?" He asked. Namjoon immediately shook his head, tears streaming down his cheeks.

"N-No Sir." He sputtered out.

He talked with the officer for a bit before finally more help arrived.

It had felt so quick from the crash to when he was getting pulled from the vehicle.

He couldn't seem to feel a thing due to the adrenaline coursing throughout his body.

He was placed onto a stretcher; eyes glaring at the stars as he coughed.

He was wheeled into an ambulance before it began its descent back into the city.

He felt a numbness wash over him as he kept his eyes glued forward—refusing to acknowledge anything else around him.

He was in pure agony.

"John Doe, lacerations to the face and body; and dislocations within the right shoulder and hip as well as a presumed fracture in the left tibia." One of the paramedics said as Namjoon was rolled out from the ambulance.

He coughed, being rolled into the emergency room of the hospital as doctors began to work on him.

"Sir, can you tell me your name?" A doctor asked, using a flashlight to shine into his eyes.

"Kim Namjoon." He mumbled.

"Good, can you tell me your birth date?" The doctor asked.

"September 12, 1994."

The doctor then smiled before moving away.

"A brain bleed isn't detected but get a head CT just to be sure." The doctor ordered.

"Tibia is fractured, we'll need a splint."

"There's internal bleeding."

There was so much going on, Namjoon didn't know where to be begin.

"Yoongi." He coughed out. "W-Where's Yoongi?"

One of the nurses moved to meet Namjoon's gaze as she spoke softly. "Your friend is on his way to the hospital, we're going to do everything we can help him, okay?"

Namjoon managed to nod a bit; then realizing he had been placed in a neck brace.

"Administering anesthesia." Someone called out behind him—from what Namjoon could hear.

He then began to feel sleep come over him; letting his eyes close.

"Take him for a full body CT and then to surgery." The head doctor announced, watching the patient get rolled off before being alerted of a second patient.

"John Doe, also in the accident with Kim Namjoon." The nurse read from her chart as the two walked to the next trauma room. "Foreign object impacting the T-spine, lacerations to the face and body; and possible fractures."

The doctor nodded, opening the curtain to see the male lying on the bed, other doctors and nurses working hard to stop him from losing blood.

"Alright, let's get some labs done; head CT and to the OR." He ordered, going to look at the male's face.

He opened the patient's eyes, shining in light to inspect his brain function before humming.

"No brain bleed detected." He announced. "Administer anesthetic."

He then moved to check where the pole was impaled.

"Between T9 and T12." He muttered. "Call Ortho as you send him up to the OR." He ordered.

"Yes Sir." The head nurse said, having the patient wheeled off to the operating room.

He let out a sigh, placing the clipboard down before heading over to the admissions desk. "Is there any contact information for Kim Namjoon, yet?"

"Not yet Sir, we will contact his family once we get the information."

The doctor then nodded before being pulled for another case.

After a few more hours of working with different patients; his pager went off.

The surgery with Kim Namjoon had been successful.

He finished off with his last patient; the ER slow now as he made his way up to the ICU.

He walked along the row of rooms before reaching the one that was assigned to Kim Namjoon.

"We contacted Kim Namjoon's family Sir." A nurse said as she had been finishing up cleaning his face lacerations.

The doctor nodded. "Thank you."

The nurse and doctor then moved to the next room right as the next patient was moved into the room.

"This is John Doe?" He asked as the nurse began to cleanse the cuts along his face.

"Yes Sir, but he was in the vehicle with Kim Namjoon." She explained, making the doctor nod.

"He's lucky."

"Very." The nurse added. "He should've died in the actual crash."

The doctor nodded. "That's very true. I hope he's able to recover well." He then hummed. "He deserves that much after surviving something like that."
