"Sorry." I muttered, watching the press conference on the small hospital TV.Thanks to my actions; they had pushed the BTS tour back another year and a half.
"It really shouldn't be a problem." Namjoon reassured, rubbing his chin gently. "ARMY will understand."
"I hope so." I muttered, shifting slightly in discomfort.
"I know so." He said, smiling. "They're pretty understanding."
I yawned, moving to rest my arm behind my head before seeing two familiar faces enter the room.
"Morning Hyung's." Jungkook greeted as him and Jimin entered.
"Hey." Namjoon said with a smile. "How was practice this morning?"
"Scary; Hobi-Hyung is terrifying sometimes." Jimin said, taking a seat at the foot of the bed
Namjoon hummed. "At least we're healing up pretty quick; we'll be back in no time."
"Yeah but how long until you guys will be able to dance again?" Jungkook asked, taking a seat on a chair next to Namjoon's wheelchair.
"Aish, we'll seriously be fine; I'm already being discharged today." Namjoon reasoned. "And you're on Tuesday, right Yoongi-Hyung?"
I nodded. "That's the plan."
"I can't believe you had a pole through your body." Jungkook commented. "That's so cool."
The doctor came into the room, greeting everyone as he began to check my wounds—the scars healing nicely.
"So, next Tuesday?" I asked, making the doctor nod.
"Seems like it." He confirmed, then turning to Namjoon. "As for both of you; physical therapy."
"Me too?" I asked.
I hadn't broken anything—thankfully.
"Yes, you too." The doctor reiterated. "You had major trauma to your spine."
Oh right, I had been impaled.
"You guys can go to therapy together." Jungkook suggested. "It'll be like a little club."
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah okay." I muttered bitterly.
"Hey look at the bright side," Jimin said, moving closer to me before starting to fix my hair as he hummed. "You and Namjoonie-Hyung can motivate each other to do your best."
"That's right." Namjoon agreed.
I then half-heartedly smiled. "Sure, whatever you wanna say, Hyung."
Namjoon shook his head with a laugh. "I can see through you, Yoongi-Ssi." He taunted. "Inside, you're a softie."
"Hey now-"
"It's true." Jimin said, cutting me off. I looked up at him, jaw dropped. "That's for embarrassing me in front of Jungkook."
I scoffed.
I mean, I couldn't really say anything but the temptation to snap back was there.
I huffed.
"Whatever."
Namjoon let out a chuckle before shifting in his chair. "I think I'm ready to go home now."
Jungkook smiled down at the elder. "Sure thing." He then looked to Jimin. "You coming? Or should I come back later?"
"I'll stay for a bit." He said, smiling at the maknae. "I'll see you later Jungkook-Ssi."
Jungkook nodded. "Bye Yoongi-Hyung, we'll see you later."
I nodded as well. "Namjoon."
The fellow rapper raised his brows, his attention on me.
"Jungkook's taking care of you, correct?"
"That's right." He said.
I then smirked. "Make sure you're an absolute nuisance to the kid—ring a bell everytime you need something and ring it a lot; for me."
Jungkook scoffed. "What do you think this is, Hyung?"
"Payback."
He rolled his eyes. "For what?"
"Embarrassing me in front of my boyfriend." I muttered in reply which made Jimin place a gentle hand over my mouth—silencing me.
As I looked up at him, his cheeks were bright red. "Okay~" He sung through chuckles, smiling sheepishly at the duo by the door. "We'll see you guys later~"
Jungkook snickered before getting behind Namjoon's wheelchair and began to wheel him out.
"Don't have too much fun you two." He teased as he walked off. "There are cameras in there!"
Jimin pulled his hand away as he moved to close the door—sliding it closed before turning to face me.
I smirked.
"You're a horrible person." He huffed, making me only smile more.
"You love me."
He then sighed, crossing his arms. "Yeah, unfortunately I do."
I only laughed softly, seeing his expression soften to a gentle smile. "Am I really that bad?"
"No." He mumbled, moving to sit at the foot of the bed as he fidgeted with his sleeve. "Not at all."
I furrowed my brows as I watched his demeanour change. "Are you okay?"
He looked up at me, nodding as his smile returned. "Mmhm! I'm good, just thinking."
"About what?"
He let out a gentle sigh, moving to sit a little father up the bed—closer to me; his smile melting into a small pout. "You."
I cooed softly, reaching my hand up to cup his cheek gently. "Then why are you pouting, Yeobo?" I asked.
"Because I'm scared."
I tilted my head, stroking his cheek with my thumb gently. "Scared of what, Jagiya?"
He looked down, his bottom lip beginning to tremble. "I thought you died." He began in a whisper.
A few of his tears dropped onto the white linen blanket as he sniffled.
"I was so scared that you were gonna die—you had a pole through your abdomen." He looked up at me; meeting my gaze. "If you would've died, a piece of me would've died too, Yoongi-Hyung."
I moved my hand to wipe his tears. "I'm okay, Jimin-"
"I-I know but, what I'm trying to say is." He trailed off, studying my face. "Love is a scary thing."
I furrowed my brows.
"I love you, Yoongi-Hyung." He then looked away as he chuckled bitterly. "And I'm scared of that. I don't want you to get hurt, or be sad. I want you to be happy and live happily because that will make me happy—just like if you were sad, I would be sad."
I couldn't help but coo at him.
'Gosh, the way you make me soft.'
We just looked at each other—for minutes.
Silence.
That was before I broke it, squeezing his hand gently as I replied to his statement.
"I love you too, Jimin-Ssi."
