As the girl headed towards her room she was stopped by Miss Vickers, "You're not going to watch the show?" she questioned, causing Lorelai to pause in her steps.

"The show?"

"Yes, aren't you interested in what they find?" the other proceeded to question, making Lorelai give a simple shrug, "Yeah, but I'm sure they'll fill me in when they get back."

"Why didn't you go out there with them?"

"I'm a mythology major... and I didn't sign up for a spacewalk, no offense." She attempted to move past her but the other proceeded to block her path.

"It is a wonder why you're even here at all."

"Excuse me?!" Lorelai exclaimed, almost in disbelief with her brows furrowed, "You're only here because Elizabeth insisted you come, as for your brother..."

"What's your problem?!"

"My problem Ms. Millburn is that my android seems to be fascinated by you and I can't seem to figure out why."

She felt her heart drop slightly, "I don't know what you're talking about-"

"If I find out you are somehow a threat- I will have no problem telling David to sedate and put you back into hypersleep."

"A threat? Are you kidding me?!"

"Oh no, I'm very serious," she stated turning on her heels and walking back to the captain's quarters.

Lorelai glanced back, rage beginning to build up inside of her, her fingers curled to soon form a fist that laid at her side.

"What a bitch..." she muttered before heading down the hall and towards her room, upon entering her green hues caught sight of a few bottles of alcohol displayed on the counter.

She grabbed a glass from a nearby cupboard, taking the bottle of vodka and filling the glass to the brim, taking a few long sips, letting it trail down her throat for a few moments as she closed her eyes leaning back onto the counter.

Once the glass was half empty she turned her attention to the rest of the room, her hues looking towards a few painting supplies that she insisted were to be brought with them were laid out on the coffee table; she managed to set up her own little art station at the nearby desk placed in the corner of her room. And as she sat, the only thing that could stop her from the endless cycle of worrying was David, but the words spoken by Vickers stayed in her mind. She didn't understand why she felt this way about someone, something that wasn't even human, yet no matter how hard she tried to focus on anything else... he was all that traced her mind. She fiddled with a nearby brush until dipping the tip down into a puddle of paint and bringing it to the paper.

She wasn't exactly sure how long it had been, but she managed to hear a commotion down the hall outside of her room, she glanced down at her painting, she had ended up making a decent portrait of David. She drank down the last bit of what was left in her glass, setting it aside before getting up from her seat and leaving her room.

"You could've compromised the entire mission, not to mention almost killing yourself-" Charlie's voice could be heard in the mere distance, and once arriving she was quick to notice that her brother and Fifield were nowhere to be seen.

"Where's Warren?" she questioned as Elizabeth turned her attention over, "Aren't they back yet?" she questioned as the girl raised a brow.

"Uhm... why are you saying that like you don't know-"

"Because we don't... him and Fifield decided to head back to the ship early, they split from the group." Charlie interrupted as he walked past to take off his suit, "And- and you didn't think to go with them?"

"I'm not their babysitter," he muttered as the girl turned towards Elizabeth for a better answer but she remained quiet.

"I told you to look after him-"

"Lorelai, it's not like he was alone and we thought he was back on the ship, if we had known that he wasn't we wouldn't have left... right Charlie?" Elizabeth questioned as Charlie glanced over giving a nod, "Yeah... yeah of course." he muttered.

She wasn't entirely convinced but she decided to drop it for now and as she left the room David caught ahold of her forearm in a gentle motion, "My deepest apologies Lorelai."

"It wasn't your fault..."

"I should've stayed with them."

"No... I didn't ask you to... I asked them." she spoke tilting her head in their direction before he had let go of her, she gave him a soft smile before leaving and heading towards the captain, soon approaching and pushing him aside as he was speaking to Fifield and Millburn.

"Hey- Warren, It's Lore... are you guys okay?"

"Oh- yeah, just Fifield doesn't know where the hell he's going."

"You wanna lead the way?"

Lorelai smiled to herself, "Good, just... can you please stay put and... don't do anything stupid- at least try not to."

"Yeah-yeah-"

"I'll be here if you need me, so will Waylon and Janek..."

"Love you, sis."

"Love you too."

She leaned back looking up towards the other, "Sorry..." she spoke as he shook his head, "No need, he'll probably listen to you."

She smiled, "Hope so..."
