Bonnie dragged himself to the nearest bathroom, scrubbing his fingers under the rushing water, watching oil trickle down the drain. Anger bubbled up to the surface; how could so much have changed in such little time? The rabbit growled, fingers clenching the edge of the sink, cracking under the ongoing pressure. Bonnie felt the guilt slowly ebb its way into his wires; he nearly regretted hurting them, but at the same time, he couldn't, wouldn't. He wasn't blind; add in the breakdown he'd laid witness to earlier, he knew they did something to Monty. Bonnie didn't want to imagine the details, but it was apparent enough.

He glanced at his internal clock, realizing he'd been gone over an hour, and figured he should get back now. Bonnie gave himself a final once over, ensuring there were no signs of a fight; he'd rather not frighten the gator anymore than he already had. He quickly stepped out of the bathroom, slinking through the halls warily until he reached the safety of Monty's green room. The gator looked up at him as soon as the door clicked aside, fear flashing through his eyes before calming at the knowledge it was only Bonnie.

"Hey, sorry, didn't mean to scare ya," Bonnie spoke in a hushed tone, seeing the small child was curled into a ball on Monty's lap, blanket wrapped around him in a tight cocoon.

The gator shook his head, claws rubbing the child's back, "N-no, it's fine, it's a rarity anyone comes in here anyway. Gregory passed out a while ago; poor kid seemed exhausted, not that ah' blame him."

He paused, glancing up at the rabbit with a warry smile, "How'd that talk of yours go?"

Bonnie flinched, forcing himself not to look away as he moved to  sit beside Monty on the couch, "F-fine, jus' a friendly lil' chat over a game of bowling."

Monty tilted his head, raising a brow with disbelief, "See, now you're not being honest."

"W-what?" Bonnie sputtered, head whipping towards the other robot.

"When ya lie, your nose twitches; it's adorable but gives ya away." Monty chuckled, gazing at the bunny's flustered face.

Bonnie sighed, "Aw man, really? Guess ya caught me; if ah' tell ya what happened ya can't get mad."

"I-I'll try not to, Bon. What exactly happened? Ya looked upset when ya came back."

Bonnie groaned, running a hand through his hair, "Ah' might have confronted the others about, well you. They weren't very honest or kind about it, and maybe ah' got a tad upset and hurt them."

The bunny's words were met with a few moments of silence, the tick of their gears the only audible sound, "Oh, well...are they okay?"

The bunny couldn't help feeling annoyed that he'd be worried about them when they didn't deserve it, "They'll be fine, just some superficial damage. The real question is, after all they've done to ya, why do ya still care?"

Monty froze, instinctively wrapping his tail around himself, "Ah' don't know, ah' should despise them, and a part of me does, but the other hopes they'll get better. It sounds silly but all ah' wanted was to keep the band together. Guess ah' failed at that too, huh?"

Bonnie's brows fell, face furling into a frown, "No, Mont, ya didn't, they failed you. Ah' should have done more, but ah' didn't, and ah'm sorry about that."

"It's not your fault, Bon, ya weren't here anyways. Still, wish you could perform instead of me; that'd make things better."

Bonnie pressed himself to Monty's side, leaning his head on the gator's shoulder, "It would be nice, but nobody can learn ah'm around. Guessing it's the same for the kid?"
