I moved around my room, taking things off of the walls so I could repaint. My brothers watched me erase years of my life in a singular moment, Knowing doing this probably hurt me. Continuing with my work I removed all of the drawings from the walls, The framed photos from the shelves. Moving things away from the walls and out of the room. With the help of my brothers, my room was completely empty...
Nothing left but the paint on the walls...
I stood in the middle of the room, letting my tears fall freely down my face. I had refused to date anyone after the break-up. It just didn't feel right... It felt like I would be replacing him with someone who couldn't be him. I walked out of the room, The project I had put myself up to was to Redo my room. As Much as I loved it... I didn't want reminders of who I lost.
Wiping the tears from my Face I walked out of the room, Tossing a set of Keys to Ace. Me, Marco, Ace, Sabo, and Luffy would be going out to get my room some new stuff. Not including furniture. Not yet anyway. The drive to the department store was filled with Idle chat. Nothing big, no real funny things were happening.
Walking around the department store was easy, Finding what I needed was easy as well, Seeing as I had been here so often before moving away. Being back in the store was weird, especially now that it was, Not with him...
I let my brothers wander around the area while I got what I needed, Though they insisted that they should stay with me. I refused, saying I wanted to be alone while I shopped and they obliged after some argument.
Pushing my cart around I looked for the paint section. Avoiding all areas with Metal or craftsmanship Items. I didn't want to think there was a chance I'd see him. Finally finding the Paint Isle, I grabbed a Muted tone of a peach-ish color. One reminiscent of the Red I'd be getting Rid of. I heard the light chatter from behind me stop Abruptly, I moved my cart out of the way Once I had the things I needed. Thinking they needed something I was blocking.
"Y/n?" A Familiar voice asked
I stopped, Turning around to see a familiar Bluenette and Brunette duo. Both of them having separate carts filled with wood and Metal. Wire picked up a can or two of a deep red paint, placing them in his cart.
"Heat... Hey, Long time no see huh..." I murmured, obviously exhausted
"Yeah... Uh, When did you get back in town?" He asked,
"The other day... Drove 20 something hours..." I hummed awkwardly, "I-Is he with you guys?"
"Yeah... Killer is too, They're gonna meet up with us here... in this isle..."
"If you want to avoid them just leave now, We'll cover you..." Wire mumbled rubbing the back of his neck
"Thanks..." I hummed grabbing a few more cans of paint before swiftly leaving the isle.
Just as I left I saw a small glimpse of Red and Yellow out of the corner of my eye, just as Heat and Wire moved a little to keep me from view. I stopped holding my breath, though soon panicking once I heard that oh-so-familiar yell.
"Heat. Wire. Let me fucking through." Killer growled
"Why do you wanna get through so badly?" Wire tried to fein innocence
"Cause I know I just saw Y/n!" The blonde snapped
I sped into the nearest Isle creating a path Even Killer couldn't follow. Quickly heading to the self-checkout and leaving the store. I refused to answer any questions as to why I left the store so quickly. Ace shook his head,
"Do you see why we wanted to come with now?" He asked, I nodded, leaning my head against the window tiredly
Thatch started to nervous sweat, "So You went with Peach?"
"Mhm, Thought it looked nice" I mumbled
I started scrolling through my phone, Looking at different furniture Items. Adding some to my list of things, Others to my wishlist. Once I had everything in my cart I bought them.
"The Furniture is gonna be here on Friday" I hummed
"Great! Wait- Did you spend your savings on it?"
"No, Used what I had on my debit card" I hummed
"How much did you have on there?!" Ace exclaimed in Broke
"... A lot, and I still have a bunch leftover" I chuckled
"But how much?"
"Bout 10-15 thousand," I hummed
"HOLY SHIT!" All of them exclaimed.
I laughed at them, Getting out of the car once it was in the driveway, Sabo insisted on carrying the paint cans for me to which I refused and carried them by myself with ease. Sabo shook his head chuckling, I had always been stubborn when it came to things like that. It just came with the territory of being the twin sister of Ace.

"Oi ace" I hummed dipping my brush in paint
"What?"
"Remember when pops did a number on us?" I chuckled
"Yeah, We tried to kill him what 200 hundred times?"
"That's in total, 100 for you and 100 for me"
"278, Remember? Y/n, You had 78-ish more tries than Ace"
"Ha, Beat that loser" I giggled
"Fuck off..." Ace grumbled, still sour about it even after years had passed.
I smiled, Maybe changing my room was going to be a good thing...
