So sorry for the long wait! I never really thought people were reading it, so I kind of stopped writing it, but then I started getting demands so I continued writing! By the way, this is waay past my bedtime so it is kind of short! Sorry! Can I get a little more feedback though? I want to know if people are ACTUALLY reading this, because I, myself like the plot, but my writing tends to get a little sloppy. Should I continue, or dump it? Or if you like the plot, but you dont like my writing, I could hand it off to my friend, because she was volunteering to write it, if you like. She doesn't have any works up yet, but I could tell her to write something small as an example if you want her to continue writing it. Whichever option you choose, I know it'll be the best one because you guys are the best. B-E-S-T, yes you are! If you're reading this, that is. Not reading the A/N I mean, reading the story. And NTL, because that's my top story. So you're awesome if you're reading any of my works. Including my All About Me, or even just my username! You, my friend, are awesome! And beautiful!
:D

“...could carpool with me.”
I looked up, puzzled. “What?”
Darren chuckled, and a lock of dirty blonde hair fell over his eye. He shook it out of his face and said, “Where have you been for the past 3 minutes, Mel? Me and Matt have been trying to talk to you.”
“Oh.” was all I could say. “Where’s Melissa?”
“Honestly?” Matt asked, leaning forward, but I quickly jerked backwards, in case he was trying to sneak a peek down my top. Not gonna happen. “She left half an hour ago. What have you been in a daze about?”
“She’s been daydreaming about my good looks,” Darren boasted with a smirk, flexing his arms behind his head. I couldn’t help but notice his muscles ripple when he stretched.
“You wish,” I said, smoothing out my wrinkled capris. “But I’m sure Em does that instead.”
“Ha!” Matt answered, laughing. “I bet. She’s totally head-over-heels for you, Dare.”
Taking a sip of his Coke, Darren replied, “The feeling is mutual.”
“I—um,” I announced. “I’m going to go get a headstart on those summer reading books.”
“We’re going to college, Mel.” Darren said, lifting an eyebrow flirtatiously. “We’ve done enough reading.”
“But, uh—“
“Let her go, Darren,” Matt interrupted. “Not everyone wants to be around you.”
“Sure they do,” Darren responded.
“Count me out of everyone, then,” I stated, hefting my shoulder bag onto my shoulder. “I’m off,”
“So you’re telling me,” Darren pressed. “That you’d rather read then talk to me?”
“Darren,” Matt murmured. “It’s not her. Let her go.”
“It’s her,” Darren muttered back firmly. “I’m positive.”
“No, it isn’t. You’re wasting your time.” Matt whispered back.
“What is?” I inquired curiously. “Are you guys talking about me?”
“No, uh--” Darren said at the same time Matt said, “Well, it—“
“We’re talking about my dog,” Darren interjected, shooting a glare at Matt. “My dog Molly. She’s lost. I, uh—I thought I just saw her behind the tree behind you. I didn’t want you to move, in case she’d get scared and run away again. But,” he glanced nervously at Matt. “Matt was right. It wasn’t her,”
